Re: NBA 2k13 Impressions Thread
This game is really good, love the presentation, some people may not like it, but I think its unique, seeing Rianna's sexy self before a game put a smile on my face. Seeing the Statue of Liberty at half time of the Brooklyn Nets game was nice too! The sound track is fire, love that Brooklyn we go hard song.
The gamplay is just amazing, it just needs to be more physical, so im adjusting the contact sliders and layup defend strenght sliders to improve physicality.Comment

Re: NBA 2k13 Impressions Thread
it really is that much more fluid than the demo. like i just cant get over the smoothness lol. my first game went into OT. the cpu kept double teamin my chris paul and id dish for open 3s or run out of the double team like cp3 would. chris paul just felt amazing to play with.Comment

Re: NBA 2k13 Impressions Thread
As someone who was not too impressed or overly excited for this game from the demo, the full version is amazing. Plays so much better and graphics are crisp as ever.
Speed feels perfect.
MyTeam is awesome. (I got Harrison Barnes and Tyler Zeller , even though I am a huge Duke fan, UNC all over MyTeam's starting lineup!)
Pro/Simulation plays amazing.
Personally, for me, rebounding seems fine. Not too many offensive rebounds in my games.
Only problem I had was when I first launched the game my "Menu Music Volume" was turned down to zero, then after I turned it up, still no music. Not even in the intros. Weird.
Overall, after the first couple hours of play, NBA2k13 and NHL 13 are both up for sports game of the year in my opinion.
VERY pleased.Comment

Re: NBA 2k13 Impressions Thread
PSN store or X Box Marketplace. Should be a place that said "Redeem code" or something along those lines.
The playstation one is in the top right corner of the PSN store. The Xbox one, push the center button, then go to the far left there should be a button there.Comment

Re: NBA 2k13 Impressions Thread
Played a online game last night (my first online game) between the Wolves (me) and Nuggets (him). The game is just so fluid and it really feels that they took a lot of the awkward momentum animations out and replaced it with a very life-like momentum system. The online game I played had absolutely no lag and was very smooth. Really loved playing as Rubio with this new skill stick. The guy has some absolutely sick moves and his passing in this game is unreal. I really, really, like this game.Comment

Re: NBA 2k13 Impressions Thread
I sort of agree it would be nice to have a patch letting you pick between a JayZ and non-Jayz presentation.
As for the soundtrack personally Im not too fond of this kind of music and usually its enough to just turn the volume down but I seem to need to turn it down for every single game mode and in some of them even repeatedly because it doesnt remember that particular setting for some reason even if I tell it to stick with it when the prompt comes up. Gets very annoying...Comment

Re: NBA 2k13 Impressions Thread
--- Interior defense can really matter if your opponent isn't creative. I'm not sure how 2K12 played with good sliders against the CPU because the CPU annoyed me to no end for the first time in 2K12, but online having badass interior defenders is a major plus. They CROWD people, like triple teaming Gerald Wallace under the hoop crowd people. And for Knicks fans, no reason to worry about Camby's age since in this game, he's just THREE MARCUS CAMBYS lol.
