When and how do you make your sig shoe in MyCareer? I got 2 mil fans and I'm a 99 ovr. *No buying VC cheese* and I still don't have my own shoe???

I got a 6'7" athletic SG named Tyson Jefferson on the Raptors. He's a pretty good all around player, he averages 14 PPG, 5 and 5, I think. I'm about 9 games through, and I'm starting at SF next to DeMar DeRozan. I'm playing like Paul Pierce, except my defense is basically perfect. I don't need a high defensive rating, I've just always been good at it, even in 2K12. I think it's fun to be a defensive role player and accept your role. There are people scoring 60 points taking 50 shots a game, getting 10 turnovers, and losing by twenty, then requesting trades, while I'm scoring 15, taking 10 shots a game, and averaging about one turnover with a good record.

Just got done my 5th season. Had a chance for playoffs, but I intentially played bad and fouled out of games to get this year over with.

The FA class was TERRIBLE. I didnt even select one player. Our roster is still the same. I am hoping I can persuade a trade. I want us to trade Hibbert and/or Granger for someone younger.

Once again 2k has made joe johnson the best scorer in the game. I used to dread playing atlanta because joe johnson was unstoppable. Now it's the same thing, the guy never misses. Even if i put a hand in his face he makes it. So i try and help when darion williams is on the top of the key and johnson rolls off the screen. I give d-will a little space and johnson dishes it and daron hits the 3 giving me a bad teammate grade. There is no beating brooklyn.

Wow..was busy again for a number of days and couldn't play, so I created a small forward for the first time in 2k13.. hands of stone.. every pass/rebound is a tough catch that he has to re-grab when it pops in the air.. can't shoot but some of that besides getting shots blocked I'm sure is me learning the new player.. and I'm in a habit of running like a guard which won't work had a terrible rookie game.. 4 points on 2 of 11 shooting.. probably 5 shots were blocked that I took.. 5 boards 2 blocks 2 turnovers no assists because every pass the shot was passed out of. Interested a bit to see what comes of trying to play him for the 10 minutes of game time he'll get a game until he earns time but probably gonna be so frustrating I'll go back to my SG I've got to a starter for 76ers

Interesting interview stuff with the SF who couldn't shoot.. 20-24th round teams.. Boston, Denver, and Cleveland..and answered everything positive just to see how that goes... ended up drafted to Boston.. at least I should get a chance to build him there with the talent .. get some extra 'points' for winning games while not playing a ton then go off and make it big after a season or two.. maybe

Wow.. my SF who's secondary position is SG.. had to play CENTER for the Celtics for half a quarter.. grade down to D+ lost all my VC for the game thanks to a bogus position change

I guess I shouldn't have went with Sim over Default.. Celtics have lost both games so far.. 108-105 to Miami.. which makes sense.. but just lost by 35 (119-84) to Milwaukee.. Really?? Only getting 13 minutes so far but I expected that with THIS player, up to 15 minutes on the rotation screen, and I'm going to REALLY hate it if I get more time as a center

Off the topic of 'My Career' a bit, but WHY the heck did Boston sign Darko? Are they desperate to lose a bunch this year and draft a center?

Draft a center?

He's cheap (1.2 million), 7 feet, should have some talent but it hasn't come out yet,... It's the risk worth taking imho. He' still going to be a presence in the paint.

I started my 6th season on the bench due to the way how I played to end last season. I could have quickly got my job back, but I decided to sim to the next key game(which was over month away). I asked my GM to go after a few players. My main targets were replacements for Granger and Hibbert.

Good news was that we got the replacement for Hibbert. He is a 26 years old Center, former '13 #2 OVR(82 OVR) pick. All around Center who can block shots(76-79 Block), Reb on both sides(90+ both and scrapper), good around the rim(80 dunk, 85 Post Fade). Teribble/worse news is that we traded away Paul George for him. He was my 1st option and the guy who I ran plays through. With Granger about to turn 35 and on decline, he isnt as reliable as he is IRL. But, at least we did get Martel Webster in that deal.

Dont know if this team is a contender. I have to get my starting job back. But, I am still 5th in All-Star votes for PGs. Our Frontcourt is solidified for the next 3 seasons if our PF we got last year gets an extension and Hibbert doesnt retire in next 3 seasons. I like Hibbert coming off the bench. Loss of George will hurt us, but we do have Courtney Lee who did play consistent last year. Since we are solid up front, I recently asked my GM for young SGs and SFs. There isnt any good young SFs at all that is under 83 OVR, but not over 75 OVR, so I dont have hopes up. But there was some good SGs.
I am not looking forward to FA, so I hope we can make a move. NONE of the FA classes have been good at all.

I just think Darko hit his ceiling whenever Detroit saw him years ago and brought him in for 03-04.. there's always going to be a more aggressive, stronger center that can also get to the free throw line, like Pekovic is in Minnesota that will keep him on the bench.

He is getting a nice tour of home locker rooms around the country though, on his 6th team in 9 seasons. Now we should probably get back on topic.. my SF can't rebound in his third game, trying to hang on to a C+ teammate grade barely just to get something out of the game

Hes not a bad player to have when he actually plays..i don't think Boston is expecting a lot from him
