Haven't posted anything for my latest My Career in 2k13 so here it is. This might be my best campaign so far in NBA 2k.
Made a 6'4" 190lb Scoring SG/SF. I went in wanting to be an ankle breaking Guard which I have been ,but as of late I've developed a catch and shoot 3pt game. Got drafted by the Bucks and i'm loving it. Got drafted by them last year in 2k12 and hated it due to the puke green jerseys. Using Paul Peirces most recent roster and it has the correct Red Milwaukee away jerseys. Beautiful uniforms that go great with my Jordan colorways.
We aren't doing so great with around an 8-17 record. Me and Monta were handling the bulk of the scoring. A few weeks ago in game I suggested trades through the GM "I'm tired of losing" I was surprised he listened so quick, probably becuase i've been so humble in my answers (Or maybe 2k finally patched the GM convos to actualy work) We got Chris Kamen for Mike Dunleavy and a 2nd rounder. Kamen is in his contract year and I would love to have him back. He is good scoring big man ,plus has the floor general skill.
A couple weeks later suggested more trades and we traded Monta Ellis for Tyrus Thomas and Charlotte's 1st round pick. If this Career is anything like the one I created on release with the Magic the GM didn't even resign anyone. Hopefully this is fixed, but either way Monta is gone. I'm cool with it because realistically I see Monta turning down is player option and signing with a larger market and plus we get a very high 1st round pick (GET ME A REAL CENTER!) and we get Tyrus Thomas' defense which we really need. I'm also starting at 2 now not 3.
I'm a 90 overall now (Play alot of association for that VC) about 30 games deep and am on the All Star ballot. I've key gamed in the past ,but am playing every game this career, Makes it alot more meaningful.
