It doesn't to me. I should at least be able to shoot somewhere between 43 and 45% because I have good shot selection since I'm basically a spot up shooter. It'd be one thing if I'm like creating my own shot, and shooting off the bounce all the time, but I'm not. 39% just seems a bit too low. Edit I put 40% in my previous post cuz I was just rounding up.

Ah well that makes sense. May be up the consistency more, other than that the game is supposed to be a very sim bball.

Basically EVERY game I have played as PF

Jump out to 12 point lead in first quarter-Check

Opponents regardless of quality makes run- Check
-run based on 3pt- Last four games
-Shoot bad so instead grab 14 orb in first half- Check

Second half opponent makes run based off TO and 3pt- Check

Opponent shoot 45% 3pt for the game....except last 4 min- Check

Opponent suddenly turns into keystone cops and lose- Check


Summary: the computer just adjusts the game to make it close regardless of what you do. It is normally the 12 pt lead barrier that triggers it. It is annoyingly scripted. This is only for c/pf. When you control the tempo/ 3pt d with a guard you can blow out teams.

Wow, that's ridiculously crazy & I guess this is how it is for SFs. The script part not sure about that but I was almost ALWAYS apart of blowouts. It was crazy how I drop 40-50 & a dub-dub or trip-dub AND STILL LOSE by a huge margin. Never understood it at all.

Do you guys tell your teammates to "pressure shooters"?

I've seen a lot of people on here complaining about the lack of teammate AI contesting shots, but have yet to see the person say that they also tell their teammates to pressure the shooters

Rebounding is so freaking stupid. I don't want to give up on this game cause I spent $64. But I may not have the patience to wait for a patch. My players are refusing to pass me the ball, they rather dribble it out of bound instead of passing it to me. Well rebounding and shooting is very much scripted. So even if I do everything right, if it is time for CPU to score or grab a rebound, well there's little I can do about it.

The biggest problem with mycareer is that the CPU plays like it understands the game of basketball, at least to a basic degree, and on top of that it gets cheesy breaks like rediculous amount of orebs and scripted runs. While on the other hand, your own teaates act as if they've never heard of the sport of basketball, and the few times they do put effort into playing, the CPU can still rely on its own cheese to win, which is why its like your team never has a chance without you. On top of that your teammates only follow there tendencies, while the CPU will actually act as if it know the right action to take in any scenario. Simply put the CPU is smart, while your teammates are for whatever reason dumbed down. Most likely they are dumbed down so you you can be the star of the team.

10-7 at this point with the Cavs and I love playing on the defensive side of the ball. I just had 5 blocks and 5 steals. However, I think I may start playing only key games soon because I can see this mode taking forever if I play every game at 8 Min quarters. Either way I'm liking the center position and may actually stick with one position this time lol

For the first time ever, I just tanked the 'Rookie game' so I wouldn't have a shot of being drafted by the 76ers in the 10th pick (2 created players already drafted there) with my new PG.. it's sort of okay with my big C/SF but rather be on a team that doesn't need a player and might have guys who will shoot. T'Wolves, Knicks, and Spurs were the interviews. Even if I get 15 minutes per game for the first half of the season I'll take that .. I think (that mindset may change when it's happening!)

Picked by the T'Wolves.. so I may end up playing a lot if the game works like MLB 2K and makes injured guys into often injured and I'll get Rubio's time when he's hurt

u can't have your teammates pressure shooters. if you playing regular game u can make changes but not in MYPLAYER.

I would love to have my players pressure shooter instead of gazing at the moon while they shoot 3 after 3 forcing me to DO EVERYTHING.

which is stupid what if u just want to be role player etc u have to take over team to win b/c losing is no fun. they should get rid of damn scripts man.

I play 12 min. I refuse to play all 82 games especially when game is so heavily scripted. Only Key games. If game wasn't scripted to where your team AI would play like CPU AI than maybe I would at least play more games per season other just KEY GAMES. Until than HELL NAW.

What is your team chemistry at? I am a PG on Hawks and I am about 50 games in. The first 30 games I averaged 1.4 assists a game. Now our chemistry is up to 80% and they shoot when I pass them the ball, they don't always make it but they shoot it.

What is your team chemistry at? I am a PG on Hawks and I am about 50 games in. The first 30 games I averaged 1.4 assists a game. Now our chemistry is up to 80% and they shoot when I pass them the ball, they don't always make it but they shoot it.

Team chemistry is ONLY 50%.. I thought that only had to do with them giving me the ball, not them shooting ball when they're wide open after my pass.. oh well.. I can't imagine team chemistry getting anywhere NEAR 80% this season if I get 6 VC a game to make my PG better and no news conference question to raise it there.. will have to resort to playing blacktop etc over and over for VC if you can still do that
