My GM just traded Kevin Love for Blake Griffin. Straight man for man trade.

Think about this.

I don't even want to continue this play-through now.

Well, I started my 5th PG and this time I got selected by the Spurs. The Spurs are actually playing like the Spurs in this play through and we are up 2-0.

The Memphis game was a close game but the Spurs came together in the fourth and made crucial stops when they needed to. Ginobli also had a 30 point game and Duncan did his thing in the Paint. I even had two steals so I made the most of my 10 minutes of play.

We blew the Lakers out. They even put me on Kobe in the 3rd and 4th quarters. Even though Kobe got his, I got mine as well.

I am expecting a long losing streak next time I load the game up but I must admit, these last two games really were fun, not because I had monster numbers and played hero ball but because both games really felt plausible.

Maybe me playing on the Wolves was not meant to be this year; breaks a 4 year custom.

... So my question to you guys is, do you think its more worth it to get good stats and be a star right away on a garbage team or to work your way up with a playoff squad?

It really depends on what you enjoy.

In the NG MyCareer it looks like they force you to work your way up the rotation, no matter which team you are drafted to or your numbers in the showcase.

I was very frustrated this year as compared to before, this year it seemed I was fighting everything on my Wolves play through. Usually, it is just playing a big that gets me frustrated but this year as I said in the above post, it just is not meant to be.

So now I am trying a stint on the Spurs. We'll see how it goes.

I'm gonna bite the bullet and just sim through the last 28 games of my season and into the playoffs.

So, yeah, that didn't work; it didn't sim anything at all, it effectively ended the season right there at 54 games.

Can someone give me a good release to use?

Chris Paul's is my favorite- really easy for me. But seriously, it depends on personal preference. Play quick games with various teams and see whose release you like best.

I am sorry to hear this. As I understand the bug, it occurs if you take part in the dunk contest. Is there a way you can just skip the dunk contest? Perhaps the rest of the season will occur then?

I'm also coming up on all star weekend and I don't know what to do, **** happened to me last time and I got so pissed.

WHY the HELL do your teammates like pretending that the ball is a hot potato? You pass it to them, they pass it right back, it doesnt matter if it will cause a backcourt violation or if a defender is RIGHT in front of them causing a turnover, they WILL pass it right back to you like idiots.

I feel you, this happens to me often and I hate it. Even Kobe will pass the ball back to me after isoing him. Not to mention getting shot clock violations because you get it passed to you with less than a second.


The Bulls in my game actually have a rather dangerous line up I'm playing currently and may actually challenge the Heat big time in the East. Basically their core group of Rose-Noah-Butler but instead of Boozer they have Carl Landry and they also have Melo. Off the bench they have Lance Stephenson, Snell, Beno Udrich, Deng and Jermaine O' Neal (though he's 37).

Allstar weekend was horrible for me, we got blown out in the rookie showcase and i don't even want to talk about the dunk contest (DO NOT WATCH).

And to top it off i went from 41mpg before the rookie showcase to 25mpg after... I guess my coach didn't like my performance.

But since i'm in the playoffs now, i want to know if there's any glitch after the finals like in previous 2k games? Any news about that?

If you're worried about the schedule glitch during all star weekend it's best to skip the weekend altogether and unfortunately the only way to do that is to sim to next key game. I didn't choose to do that because my next key game was over a month away and in hindsight I would have been better off just simming 13 game instead of having the game kill my season at 54 games.

Just to let you all know. For any who think next gen my career is better, your wrong. If anything its a little more annoying because the glitches 10xs worse, the CPU is even harder to score on, if you have a mis match defensively you can't take advantage of it, your teammate ai is still not very good, though somewhat better. And the cheesy cut scenes are long and repetitive making it virtually impossible to create multiple my careers and keep your sanity all at the same time. Because the cut scenes are long it makes wanting multiple my careers boring and tedious. So in short for those who don't know, were stuck with crappy my career on both gen consoles. At least until next year.

Hi guy's. long time lurker, first time poster. Before I ask I just want to say that if it wasn't for this great site and it's members, my sports gaming experience would be a LOT more frustrating than it currently is. So thanks guy's.

My problem is, the more I've played MC Mode, the more I eye roll at the predictable opponent AI tendency's/success rate (3 point shot clock cheese, My teamates sagging off perimeter shooters ect)

Since sliders are a no go (360) (Why sliders aren't in MC is mind blowing, but yeah) I decided to DL Nogsters Roster from here at OP and it's great.

But when I RE LOAD my MC after starting a new 1 with Nogsters roster. It goes back to the terrible 2k roster.

I got drafted to the Bulls. D Rose is at 90 OVR with Nogsters

I reload and he's back to 2k's 92 OVR. So I know something is wrong.

Sorry if that was a little long winded I just wanted to be clear. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just want a more enjoyable MC without all the cheese . Thanks.

As is the story with my cursed save, sim gamed to the playoffs where we played the Rockets in the first round. Elimination game with everything on the line in my final contracted season as a Pelican. We're down 20 in the 4th, I light it up the best I can and get it to within 2 with about 3 minutes left and what happens? I get subbed out. We end up losing 129-119. After all that work to make for a miracle comeback, things end in a heartbreaking fashion. My statline:


52 points, 5 rebounds, 13 assists, 3 steals and 3 blocks.

Now I enter free agency and see what my options are and where I want to go. From Sacramento to the Pelicans, it's been a failure of a first three years in the league for me and I'm hoping that year 4 will be my breakout year. Oh and last year, OKC beat us to eliminate us and won the chip. This year the Rockets win the chip. The Finals MVP? Lou Williams, yep.

Hey, started my first MyCareer on PS4. Never tried this mode before, but having fun and played around like 28 games total so far. How are people being able to simulate games? I haven't seen any option and have been looking around for an answer. Thanks for any help! (there hasn't been any 'simulate to next game' option anywhere..)

7' 240lbs Athletic Center on PHI. Played every game on HOF Sim, 12min. Swept MIA, NY and BKN, but now I'm playing against the SAS(who are w/o Tim Duncan because he's injured), and they are playing phenomenally. We won the 1st 2 games at home, though they had a much better record than us), then they won 3 straight at home. Now we're down 3-2 and I'm gonna go to work and try to get these next 2 games at home.
