Basically, I'm the point guard and he is useless. Also, I have yet to get a team grade of b or better. My team never plays defense and the little icon always switches off on me because they're not doing anything. So when there opponent scores it goes against me and affects my team grade. Enes Kanter is shooting 38% by the way. And we're 0-18, and that's a legit 0-18, we have not played a close game yet.
Difficulty and play style (Sim or Default)?

You know it's going to be a rough night when you're challenged to get a double-double from points/assists...

Start the game, Love misses 4 wide open 3s from me (lvl3 Dimer + Floor General lvl3), he then knocks down his next 5 (off of Pekovic and Martin), Martin misses 3 in a row off my passes, makes 1 and then 2 more off of teammates passes, Deng (Luol) misses 2 layups from under the rim and refuses to shoot from outside the paint under ANY circumstances, Martin missing the layup on a fast break, my passes get stolen now all of a sudden, before the end of the 2nd quarter I had 1 assist and 4 TO (average 2.5 TOs on the last 50 games). Yeah, bring up menu, go to the bottom, select "Quit Game", "Yes, I'm damm sure I wanna quit w/o saving"

That never happened when our team chemistry was low; I had to play hero ball every game just to prevent us from getting waxed every night. Now I can get 30 and 12 assists easily within the flow of the offense. I actually enjoy playing this mode now lol
Yeah same here! My expectations were high on how well I would play in 2k14, but my results were met with low outcomes. It was the first time in a long time that I was yelling and cursing at the screen because the BS that happens as a starting rookie just kept coming. Then it slowly started to subside as the game of kickball became more and more like basketball. I still get rather annoyed at the calls from the refs and the bonehead performances that my teammates will do from time to time. I think once people finally understand that this is not NBA 2k13 or any variation of the sort due to the new gameplay and mechanics, they'll accept the game for what it is. Not what you expected.

You see, 2k got it right with the idea of "team progression" however there is a problem IMO- it takes about 50-60 games for your team to "graduate" and if a game takes you an hour of real life time to complete, we're looking at 50-60 plus hours of nearly endless, unrewarding frustration and this is where they (2k) got it wrong- as a rookie, especially if you're on a good team, you're not supposed to be playing 41 mins each and every game.

Had they stuck to the plan to simulate a first season for a rookie in the NBA (only get to play 5-10 mins/game, mostly during 'garbage time'), the frustration could have been reduced to just a few hours of real life time. As it is now, I can see why people throw their hands up in despair and abandon the MyCareer mode for good.

Myself, I am past this initial time period of frustration (60+ hours into MyCareer) but I feel burned out already due to different reasons- mainly, 90% of our offense is the same every time down the court, most plays don't work and those that do work you can only successfully run them once, maybe twice every few games because the AI defense catches up the them and will not allow them to be developed/exploited and the rest is either ISO or screen/roll over and over and on D the AI is very predictable and repetitive as well. There are like 3 different types of offense the AI will run so after half a season you've seen it all. Afterwards, it's just more of the same.

Just played out a thriller in my first start. 2OT loss by 2 points to the Spurs at home as fixed as it was for them to win it was an exciting game. I finished with 30 points and 19 assists. Parker, Ginobili and Duncan were almost unstoppable after the 4th quarter finished. With the game tied at 130 I had an open J top of the key noone on me Excellent release A and I miss it when I had hit countless throughout the game SMH at 2k at this point. We are now 0-8 for the season but I seen positive signs in that game and with Thad Young coming back things might get better. I hope.

Anyone know how to get more VC points to start in my career? I thought I read somewhere that when they give you 5k vc points to buy a suit that you can save and restart and keep those pints? Not sure though. I want my guy to start off pretty good instead or high 60's

Just dominated the All-Star game. Knew going in I was going try to score as many points as possible so I ball-hogged like a mad man.

I still had things on HOF/Sim and Run plays so it wasn't easy.

Remember all that complaining about my three point shooting I was doing earlier? Well I changed my release before this game and couldn't miss. I shot (9-19) from three, and scored 63 points overall for my Career high.

Too bad it didn't really count though, lol.

I also had 5 rebounds, 7 assists, and 5 steals in 33 minutes. All on LeBron btw.

I'm hoping my shot success continues past this game.

Well I started my 6'6" 230lb All-Around SG. Got drafted to UTA. I saved up 200K+ VC prior to creating him, and when I was done maxing out everything, buying sig. skills and animations I was down to about 300 and something VC. It takes a whole lot of VC to get your player too notch I see. Oh well, I'm gonna get back to it.

I forgot how frustrating it was playing with anything less than 90% teammate chemistry.

It seems like you can pretty much tell if you're destined win/lose a game or if a game is toss up. You start a game up, play about a quarter or two and then quit, once you get back to the homepage you will see a W(you'll win the game easily, even if you play poorly), an L(you're going to lose no matter how well you play), or it'll be blank(the game can go either way depending on how well/poorly you play) above the game you're scheduled to play that day.

If only Kevin Love would rebound like he does for real, this career would be on point.

Right now Love is averaging 26.9 ppg on 51%(43% from 3) shooting, 8.9(2.1 orpg) rpg and 3.1 apg.

Pek 12.5 ppg on 60% shooting, 8.3(2.8 orpg).

                        Martin 15.3 ppg on 45%(37% from 3), 3.8 rpg and 2.1 apg.

                        Rubio 6.7 ppg on 42%(39% from 3), 3.1 rpg, 9.8 apg and 2.2 spg.

Love is 5th in the league(1st if PF) in ppg and he leads the league in 3s made. I've been forced to score more in these past few games dropping 40+ 4/6 games, but love has been right there with me dropping 25+ 5/6(32+ 3 times), Rubio had a streak of 7 straight games with 10+ assists until last game and Martin has been in double figures all but twice this season.

So after out record slipped all the way to 0-11 I said to myself enough is enough. I didn't get to the point of wanting to leave Philly but we needed change. I went to the GM with the "Im tired of Losing" option. I picked him to go after Wilson Chandler, Danilo Gallinari, Jeff Green, Ben McLemore and Klay Thompson. I key gamed and after about two games he traded Darius Morris and a first rounder for Jeff Green (cheese I know). From the game Jeff Green joined the team we went from 1-11 to 9-13 I simmed about 10 games and played the next Key game which was against CP3 and the Clippers and we won to extend the streak to 8 in a row and this team just played unreal. Noel had a career game and finished with 30 points and 14 boards and I had 23 points and 11 assists and was getting the MVP chants for the game winning free throws but the thing is Green didn't even hit double digits but in most of the simmed games he did so I'm kinda scratching my head but I ain't complaining since we have gone from staring 0-11 to now being on a 8 game streak so hopefully it continues into the next few gamesand hopefully we can get back into the playoff picture.

In a game where I played pretty poorly, 22 points(7-18), 3 rebounds 4 assists and 4 TOs, Kevin Love, Ricky Rubio, Pek and Kevin Martin put in work; Love had 30 and 18 on 10-23(5-7 from 3), Martin 26 on 9-21(4-7 from 3), Pek had 18 and 10 and Rubio had 14 assists and 4 steals.
