Damn, almost went 10/10 in a game against the pacers until i took my second three. I see the difference though between jacking up tons of shots vs taking smart shots, your team overall plays much better.

Hate when u feel the game is cheating u out of a W. looking to go up on 3-0 in Con finals yet my J was mad off from Long range with nothing but open looks. Cpu stealing ball easy. Couldn't take over like i wanted to had it good b/c Andrew Bynum fouled out giving Noel a brake at C even tired he still better than the back up for Bynum.

Now I'm about to play 6 minute Quarters until i close out series with 2 more games. Not in mood for another Buck Series where game wants to keep them in make it a series. had to close them out in 6, should of been 4 or 5 again.

Glad the Pelicans got eliminated b/c They was the one team I couldn't beat. So stacked and it doesn't help when CPU having Kyle Irving play terrible so now I have to be BLACK MAMBA and jack up shots to keep it close or take lead than I can spread it around.

However in year 8 DHoward on Warriors team with mostly real life roster same besides cpu generated. It will be a tough series especially if Irving refuse to show up or the Coach gives him under 30 minutes and I'm force to play with D.Collison WHICH I REALLY HATE. B/c he will pass open shots but take contested shots. Good thing for On Court Coach.

Playing them Shooters along with DHoward will give me challenge I want compared to playing Timberwolves who rosters is still mostly in tact like it is today.

I don't have to worry about no damn shooters going crazy but I will have to make sure to dirty work with Rebounding sig to keep LOVE off them Boards.

Rubio doesn't really score or scare me like Curry and Thompson WILL.

If i could guard them I would be good but Since I'm SF i just have to watch and help when I can.

SO far thinking still need to get past Cavs who still have their roster from today somewhat in pact just without Kyle Irving who a 76er now.

How many shoes can you actually make in MyCareer? I just got an endorsement saying I could make my second shoe. I'm probably gonna make this shoe +4 my 3 point shot, and then buy one of those sleeves to make it a 96 3 point.

Does anyone else playing a PG notice that opponent PGs will try to finish a disproportionately large number of attacks? In my games opp. PGs will shoot over 1/3 of the entire AI team (that's the starter PG+his substitute combined), I checked the box scores for my last 4 games and there are 30-40 shots by the PGs out of a 80-85-90 team total. Also the AI PGs spend up to 18 seconds with the ball every other or every third possession, trying to get around me by dribbling.

I know it could be a bit of a hassle, but if you're on the PS3 I'd suggest playing MC with Turty11's rosters; they're the best roster(until Bed releases his).

My teammates AREN'T mentally challenged, often.

Kevin Love is playing like a monster, he's averaging 28 and 9; he and I combine for 1044 points 19 games into the season, KD and Westbrook are second combining for 921.

League stats are realistic, except rebounding(there aren't enough standout CPU rebounders), Howard's a career 13 rebound and he's barely averaging 10, while Love is a career 12 rebound guy barely averaging 9.

I think that has more to do with the game as I've upped guys rebound, vertical and hands ratings to 99 and and given them the tenacious rebounder and scrapper sig skill, then simmed the season they still don't crack 14+ rebounds a game.

So, how has your shot success been since? Have you seen continued improvement or did it go back to past percentages?

It has been increasing for sure. I went from under 40% to around 42% now 4 games after the all star break.

Just like in real life that performance really got me going. I think it has to do with me changing my release though.

I have even developed two three point hotspots since the all star game. Now I actually feel like my threes are going to go in when I shoot them wide open.

One CPU annoyance I have with this mode is when they will call an isolation (opposing team) for the CPU pg and have them dribble into the paint for 5-6 seconds contested by my team's pg.

Then it is guaranteed they will make a contested layup or get fouled by my teams point guard. This happens at least 4-5 times per game, even if you double team they will get that foul call.

So has anybody gotten a Shoe Deal at Next Gen My Career? Coz I'm at 57th game I repeat FIFTY SEVEN and I haven't gotten a shoe deal yet. Currently my stats are 32.9 PPG 6.3 RPG 7.8 APG 3.6 spg 1.4 bpg that's a pretty good stat line IMO. But all I have now is this stupid Energy Drinks, Champs Sports, and KIA endorsement but no shoe deal. I was already balling and posting good stats around 20 games in to the season I also got the starting Point Guard spot from Brandon Jennings(drafted by Pistons) around 32 games in to the season. This frustrates me coz I'm more than halfway through done with one season and I'm still wearing the WACK Generic shoes.. I feel like Shoe Endorsement should be the first one given in My Career like how it is in real life NBA. Players in the NBA especially ones posting great numbers or had a great career in College gets a shoe deal even before they play a game in to the season..

I really do not want to give this up - the storyline of being the core to the next Celtic Dynasty is large. Yet this is so frustrating, I am torn on what to do here.

I'm thinking of making a Shooting Guard or a Small Forward save. I usually stick with PG but I'm up for trying something different. Maybe an undersized SG like at 6'4 but really good on D or a SF who can do it all like LeBron.

Anyone having fun with SG or SF saves on current gen?. I need to keep it fresh until I get my hands on a PS4.

So I made a 6'4 athletic Shooting Guard and I thought I did pretty good in the showcase. I was playing on 8 minute quarters on hall of fame my state line was 15 points, 7 assist, 6 boards, 3 steals, 1 block and a horrible 8 turn overs. I played pretty good D on Ellis but he ended up scoring 16.

During the interview with the agent I said I wanted to go to the Magic but ended up getting drafted number 7 to the Kings which I'm fine with cause I feel like that franchise is turning it around.

Well, I started my 5th PG and this time I got selected by the Spurs. The Spurs are actually playing like the Spurs in this play through and we are up 2-0. ...
Maybe me playing on the Wolves was not meant to be this year; breaks a 4 year custom.

It has been a bit since posting. This career is so much different than my prior careers that I'm dumbfounded.

My Spurs are playing close to their real life counter-parts. We are 12-3 and the only statistical category that my team is lower than the real life counter part is rebounds. It really is a good feeling when you steal the ball from the opposing PG and both Ginobili and Leonard streak up the court for the fast break ... and this type of play is consistent.

My Spurs are a beast defensively - they are allowing only 91pts a game on average (They are only averaging 96 pts a game) and instead of using rebounding they accomplish this by forcing turnovers (I've seen more 24 second violations in 15 games than I've seen in 3 years prior) and playing true defensive basketball.

We are a game behind the Clippers and are battling the Thunder, Rockets and the Pelicans for the second seed. (Yes, the Pelicans!)

Speaking of the Thunder - they are are last loss and it was a very memorable one. The first 6 possessions for both teams resulted in no basket and the game was tied at the end of every quarter. The matchups were tighter than Clark Kellogg in an airplane bathroom.

That game also showed me that my play-style and structuring of my PG is very much like Westbrook. It seemed that we were mirrors of each other the whole game - he came out on top offensively but I dominated defensively. (6 steals that game is my best so far).

I don't know if 2k did something with their default roster but I swear this career is so different than my prior careers. I regularly check the settings to make sure I'm still on HoF/Sim.
