Shooting is not broke. It's just the people on here want to shoot +60% from 3pt. Or never miss an open jumper. Sorry but that's not realistic. 30-40% is statistically accurate.

I hate the social media challenge where you have to hold the other point guard under 6 assists. I can stop a guy from scoring, but how am I supposed to stop him from getting assists??? And I love how they get on Twitter talking trash, saying they 'shut you down' because you scored 28 instead of 30 lol

I don't want to play 41min a game, and I have to keep decreasing the game time in order to not be playing an hour per in-game contest. Ideally I could keep it to 12min quarters and have my player getting 25-32 min a game in the rotation.

is there a way to do this that I'm missing? The other thing is my player gets tired legitimately sometimes and I want him out, but the coach just leaves me in, even with foul trouble.

I need a sub coach! used to be holding up a fist in HS!!!

For those of you just beginning, here is my advice for you. Be patient. The game will frustrate you as it attempts to make you feel like a rookie. The AI will make you make mistakes. The AI will make your teammates make mistakes, but as you progress in taking and making smart shots, your shot percentage will slowly improve. Your team play will slowly be more fluid, but expect the AI to completely shaft and bless your team every once in a while. 2ksports refers to this as a hot or cold streak. IMHO,2K has instituted some form of progressional play in 2k14, but that's just my hunch. You can no longer come out of the starting gate scoring 40 points and getting double doubles with ease.

One way to get subbed out immediately is to commit intentional fouls (not reach-in fouls) (when the situation doesn't call for it)

I agree. I was on the verge of selling this game and going back to 2k13, but I stayed with it and now I'm seeing results with our teammate chemistry at 93%. We just knocked off Cleveland and Indiana by 16 and 23 respectively. That never happened when our team chemistry was low; I had to play hero ball every game just to prevent us from getting waxed every night. Now I can get 30 and 12 assists easily within the flow of the offense. I actually enjoy playing this mode now lol

I know man. I gotta admit, Matt Barnes kinda pissed me off when he bragged about being unstoppable after scoring 11 POINTS, even though he had shot 16 times and had 6 TOs and I dropped a 30, 10, 10 triple double with 5 blocks and 3 steals.

Do you guys try and keep faith with a team or ask for a trade of your team is doing bad. My PG save with the Sixers and we are 0-7 but I haven't started yet so it might just be I can't contribute from the start of the game. The team isnt playing that bad and Thaddeus Young who is a key contributor went down after one game for two weeks so that might be quite a big factor. I feel like a douche asking for a trade in any save as I usually stick it out whether we are doing good or bad.

My PG save with the Sixers and we are 0-7 but I haven't started yet so it might just be I can't contribute from the start of the game. I asked for a trade 13 games into our season and the GM trade Monta Ellis and Shane Larkin for Rondo. We lost our first game with him but we were up the entire game and lost by 1. We are now 1-13 but the team played better with Rondo than they have the entire year.

Impossible lol. I tried like 5 times then I said screw it. Even the simplest dunks are nearly impossibe to pull off with the Rock Band/ Guitar Hero button configuration.

I didn't think I would be saying this, but I think I wanna stay with the Kings my whole career. We have a nice trio with DeMarcus Cousins (finally playing up to his potential), Chandler Parsons, and myself. I like Marcus Thornton because he is LETHAL from 3 point range, but I wish Brandon McLemore got more playing time also.

Hey guys wondering if anyone has asked for a trade and if you have how you went about it? Haven't seen the option when meeting with the GM. Got drafted by the 76ers and are the worst team in basketball 13 games in.

This is the worst game mode ever, but yet I still play it. I'm currently the 6th man on the Utah Jazz, I average 31 minutes a game, yet Brandon Rush is still a starter over me. Trey Burke has not hit one 3 ball for me when I pass it to him, yet he makes contested threes on his own... He never controls the tempo and always dishes it to me. Basically, I'm the point guard and he is useless. Also, I have yet to get a team grade of b or better. My team never plays defense and the little icon always switches off on me because they're not doing anything. So when there opponent scores it goes against me and affects my team grade. Enes Kanter is shooting 38% by the way. And we're 0-18, and that's a legit 0-18, we have not played a close game yet.

I made a post about this a few pages ago, threes are just less consistent this year

I have a 94 3pt rating and a maxed out consistency with my scoring small forward but still barely hit 40% of them.

I only shoot wide open Excellent release shots too, so it's frustrating.

You must be doing something wrong.

Find your players hotspot in Shoot around mode, only shoot when you're open unless it's absolutely necessary.

I shot around 50% of 28 3 pointers I took in my last game (Athletic PG. 90 3pt and 90 consistency ratings.. No signature skills)

Was it you who said you're with the Trailblazers now?

My PG's with them and their great. Aldridge and especially Batum are monsters. Lillards a liability though. He misses way more than he scores and ball hogs too much.
