I made a post about this a few pages ago, threes are just less consistent this year

I have a 94 3pt rating and a maxed out consistency with my scoring small forward but still barely hit 40% of them.

I only shoot wide open Excellent release shots too, so it's frustrating.

What percentage are you expecting to shoot? If you continued to shoot around 40% a season for your career, your guy would go down as one the best 3pt shooters and arguably the best 3pt shooting SF in NBA history. I understand where you're coming from, but 40-41% is damn good; 42+% and your talking top 12 all time. I can't look right now, but I'd imagine Kerr and Curry's(the 2 best in NBA history) 3pt ratings are 99, maybe that's what it takes to be a 45+% 3pt shooter.

Is there any way to edit the appearance and name of your MyCareer player after the initial creation process?

I have NBA2k14 for PS4. I created a guy, played about 10 games and then put my PS4 into standby mode (this is my first day with the console).

When I took the PS4 out of standby mode, I thought I'd be able to jump right back into the game. The game booted up from the beginning and although it saved my game process, my stats, attributes, etc..... it completely changed the appearance of my player, as well as his name.

I'm looking everywhere to find out where I can edit the appearance of my guy and I can't find anything.

Am I just screwed now?

Hey Frustrating I think this game is Code 4 Lebron or KD to win MVP.

How does KD team have lower standings and playoff rank in West yet he wins MVP :sign ball:

My stats were better than Lebron but we were 1 and 2 in league rankings with My team being #1

I could understand him winning though b/c of his Popularity even though I'm #1 SF and #1 player in league year 8.

But KD HOW in the Freak. He has average like 7 more points than me but every other stat is equally or i'm better.

My team has a better record than his. I wouldn't even mind losing to A.Davis since his team has best in west but he never cracks top 4.

So I'm bout to replay last game of season and WIN it this Time Maybe I'll win the MVP.

Could of sworn MVP went to best Player on team with Best Record.

I can't speak for the poster you quoted but 40% is only realistic for HoF/simulation. On All-star/default I wouldn't complain if I knocked down 50% of my wide open, excellent release 3pointers. If the CPU wanted to prevent it, all it has to do is just not leave me wide open which it doesn't because it doesn't have to, because open 3s will only go in as often as contested 3s which is also not realistic.

I can't speak for the poster you quoted but 40% is only realistic for HoF/simulation. On All-star/default I wouldn't complain if I knocked down 50% of my wide open, excellent release 3pointers. If the CPU wanted to prevent it, all it has to do is just not leave me wide open which it doesn't because it doesn't have to, because open 3s will only go in as often as contested 3s which is also not realistic.

40-44% from 3 is perfectly fine on AS/Default; 50% is rookie/pro shooting and those settings aren't available in MyCareer. I also kinda doubt that all that's being taken are wide open 3s, sometimes you may just be open or not guarded very closely; when I play as a shooter at any position I always buy the deadeye and microwave sig skills, deadeye helps raise your percentage when shooting in the face of a defender closing out on you and microwave get you hot in with a few makes.

Does anyone else notice that the second PF never gets into the rotation like right now i have a C on the Trailblazers i have played like 11 games and Thomas Robinson hasnt dressed for one game not even when someone got injured The same thing Happened when i Had a SG on THE bulls TAJ gibson never played one game.

Just wondering does this happen to everyone does the back-up PF never play why dont they fix this glitch

My second PF on the Wolves, Williams, gets too much PT(26). He gets almost as many minutes as Pek because the coach constantly moves Love to C to get him in the game instead him playing alongside of either Pek/Asik at C. Asik gets little to no playing time(7), but kills it when he's in, he got 13 rebounds in 8 minutes last game.

I play on All Star default. I shoot about 44% from 3. My rating is at like 87 and consistency around 80 and I don't have signature skills (none that relate to shooting anyway)

I think it's your jump shot release. I had problems hitting threes until I changed to chris smooves release (best in the game IMO) and now I can't miss. I went 7/8 last game from 3 point land.

Btw it's 42 and 26 (the releases)

After the 1st season my Local Fan Support has been stuck on 75% (it was 100% long before the end of the 1st season) even though all the answers to post-game interview questions give me a + with the locals. Any ideas why? Just another glitch? Does this number even matter? (yes, I'm still on the same team as my 1st season)

MVP! 8th season

Just won 1st game against the Nets in playoff series. Gave up a huge lead only to win by 3. I had to take ball keep them in my hands for free throw shots.

Let's c if i can win this Championship this year have to play every game to unlock achievement.

7' 240lbs Athletic Center on PHI. Played every game on HOF Sim, 12min. Swept MIA, NY and BKN, but now I'm playing against the SAS(who are w/o Tim Duncan because he's injured), and they are playing phenomenally. We won the 1st 2 games at home, though they had a much better record than us), then they won 3 straight at home. Now we're down 3-2 and I'm gonna go to work and try to get these next 2 games at home.

Man I am going to make a montage of all the wacky crap that happens in this game. Rebounding is indeed broken, i had 3 guys in my team ready to get the rebound but the guy on the other team literally STRETCHES HIS ARM OUT like Mr. Fantastic to get the rebound. Good thing I saved that replay, good Lord.

I have started a Mycareer, something I do every two years when I forget how bad the the AI and how ridiculous the tendencies are in this game. I play for the Jazz and 80% of the plays brake when I run them. When I'am subbed in at shooting guard (I am a very small point guard, and I've been subbed at PF twice, and once again Tim Duncan ; Great coaching) the point guard doesn't run any plays and just stand there. Every time I give the ball to Kanter in the post he thinks he's KG and does some ridiculous turnarounds.

I don't know how 2K gets a pass for all this and how is this mode so popular.
