Re: Dribble Move & Finish Move tendency update

So I just played a GREAT game with the Lakers vs the Celtics. After the game I go to click on box score, and hit rematch by mistake so no stats....

Again I didn't get to see the final stats, but both teams were 50+ FG% at the half. The game played very well imo, the Lakers took the lead with 1:41 left in the game, and from that point on, things just started going in their favor. Final score was 105-98. Neither team were very efficient from the 3pt line. Rondo had a putback dunk :/... I don't know how to feel about that lol. About 6 or so offensive rebounds for each team. Fouls felt about right. I put playcalling on auto to test play usage, I noticed that they'd often have me run the same play a few times in a row (really annoying), but I do like how as soon as Shannon Brown got hot, they started drawing up plays for him.

Hope I was atleast somewhat useful, I'll do another write-up after I play a little gears 3 . And this time I'll make sure I grab the stats.

Hey JD, yeah its still KG's roster with all the hex and everything, but Chia and cast have been putting in MAJOR work on the tendencies, and ratings.

DC and I are unsure how that happened... but we are looking into it and DC already has a scale in place for tip-ins, self post (he was seeing too many) and alley oops. But we are also going to be looking into a few global touch ups as well... more to come on that later.

Also about the playcalling... the CPU only selects from the top two plays I noticed more often than the bottom two. Also the CPU will feed the hot man due to the CPU's playcalling taking into account, matchups, ratings and who's hot.

Re: Dribble Move & Finish Move tendency update

chia, i tested the latest Roster/Slider sets u put up as Celtica vs Bulls & didn't get a chance to get the stats but I come with feedback:

                  1. I noticed how Derrick Rose actually played like himself. attacking the basket any chance he got. and when we doubled him in the paint he found the open man for a jumper or an inside cut to the hoop which didn't gaurantee a basket but it was the right bball play.

                  2. the sense of urgency I got from the CPU controlled team was incredible. I felt like the CPU actually wanted to win & not just coast till the end of the game by doing questionable irrelevant offense.

                  3. I got beat by atleast 20pts cuz Im not used to playing as Celtics. once u update the Heat, I'll come back with stats & accurate feedback.

                  I hope my feedback helped…

I agree with this. The CPU made the extra pass to find the open man, having my D running around like fools to try and get back on the man.

One thing I have always hated about All Star though (I've always played on it though) is the logic. That's why when I was part of the Purist set slider project, we discovered that it was almost essential to have hum shooting sliders higher than CPU (but that was before the amazing roster work you have put in).

I did notice that the CPU offense felt unstoppable sometimes, maybe that's just me not used to shot stick timing and not able to match it with them on my offense end or maybe it's the higher value in shooting sliders that the cpu have n 3 point and mid I think it is....either way very excited about what's being done here.

The animations were great, players played like they should, pulled out there dribble moves etc.....great work

Yeah sometimes the CPU goes into "rage" mode where its tough to stop... but what I have started to do is call a timeout... and then if the next possession something happens again (turnover, miss, block) or something I call another t/o and that seems to help alot. I have noticed that the CPU does this strategy... and I've always wondered why the CPU would call a timeout and then another right after that... and I've finally realized its only when I am on a big run does that happen.

I'm just wondering. Your latest release news is the post #3 on page 1. Correct?

                          Thanks.

                                just finished LA Clippers(HUM) @ GS Warriors(CPU)

                                -How many points: 84 - 105
                                -Field Goal Attempts: 29/78 37% - 46/95 48%
                                -3pt Attempts: 5/23 21% - 2/8 25%
                                -Assist: 13 - 27
                                -Steals: 6 - 9
                                -Blocks: 4 - 4
                                -Turnovers: 10- 6
                                -Fouls: 9 - 22
                                -Free Throw Attempts: 21/40 52% - 11/14 78%
                                -Points in Paint: 36 - 54
                                -Fastbreak Points: 4 - 12
-Rebounds both Off and Def: 7off/46reb - 8off/52reb

the game felt good overall. no oddoties. i felt like GS couldda played a lil more fast paced offense. i like monte and stephen curry's shot selections. saw acouple put backs with in the flowe of the game. i chugged up a lot of 3pt fg's cuz im not used to the clippers playbook nor their style of play. i did manage to get a few "Incredible Griff" highlights... 2 alley oops in transition (MoWill to Blake). hope this helpes/

ill play with a team i am most comfortable with, Miami Heat right now.. ill be back with feedback chia...
