That I know, but what I dont know is if this translate into 2k13 with either current or edited ratings and how much would it be altered by the sig skills ... I did some shot location stat tracking in 2k11 for an online league we had, back when the 2k site was on, and we had to alter the sliders in order to get the FG%s within that year real life stats ... therefor, the best way to go is by testing once the game is out.

But again, in theory, the same thing that affects mids affects 3s ... in fact, going by your approach, 3s and mids are within the same range of FG%s in real life, if not less (34-36%).

Yep. Which is why most everyone should be lowered by about 10 points from their original rating in the game (Which is what Hyper did last year before he changed it upon request).

But yeah, if you're going to shoot the same percentage why not get 3 points instead of 2? I'm sure the players know this instinctively and it's why a lot of them settle for 3's and why coaches emphasize you to run guys off the 3 point line.

        @HypeBaller

Just wanted you to know I started an Association & MyCareer with your skill sig project (with minor improvements to my liking) and you don't know how good of a job you have done. It really stands out with the computer AI. These last 2 days have been great. Much appreciated.

After some thought, I think that Kawhi Leonard should get the "acrobat" skill or finisher. I know this sounds kinda odd given that he isn't a great or, even really good offensive player.

The thing is though, all last year, if he got a shot at the rim, he made it 99.9% of the time, it was a guarantee, even in traffic. He was 2nd on the team at FG% from 3-9 feet, and 3rd in and1%.

You just knew, whether it be an offensive rebound putback or cut to the basket, if he got close he was gonna make the shot. even with contact.

How does Paul Pierce not have Shot Creator, Spot-Up Shooter or Finisher? Maybe not all 3 (Finisher, though he gets plenty of And-1's), but at least one of the first 2.

Yeah, I personally believe that he deserves shot creator and deadeye, but maybe 2k sees his age being a factor this year....? Not sure.

Appreciate the updates for the Warriors. Also saw that Curry had Hands (which is for players getting their hands in on shots to knock the ball loose) instead of Pick Pocket (for steals). Did you mean to give him Pick Pocket?

I have him with Finisher, Shot Creator, and Microwave. We gave Spot Up Shooter to those who have at least 85% of their 3's assisted while shooting at least 40% from that range.

He does not shoot a high percentage from midrange or 3pt to get Deadeye

Well, I gave everyone who averaged at least 1.9 steals per 40 mins ACTIVE HANDS. I can also add PICK POCKET to his list.

So, you are giving out certain sigs because of stats and not because of individual traits?

Active hands = "Able to strip the ball during a shot attempt."

I think Active Hands and I think Karl Malone, Bruce Bowen, and Ron Artest.

Ah. Just never thought of him that way (as a shot disrupter), though maybe I don't know that aspect of his game.

About the eraser skill for D.Wade. He already has a 70 rating for blocks which is pretty high IMO . That's higher than most guards and forwards already. I thought eraser was more for those hard out of bound blocks?

His block rating is high, its actually higher than its suppose to be. Anyway, ERASER is for "highlight" blocks, which he is known for making excellent blocks at the rim.

Its about half stats / half traits. Those guys will still have their appropriate skills. But I use stats as base, then fill in / remove what needs to be their.
