Camby might not be talked about much but he deserves the alley-oop SS. He is ALWAYS throwing oops to his teammates that can catch and finish airborne.

Just looked at my Lakers and was wondering, which rosters did you use for these? There were a few players that aren't there anymore like McRoberts (Magic), Sessions (Bobcats), Eyenga. Just letting you know!
EDIT: OHHH, this was BEFORE the Dwight trade, nvm! (and I realized it's not about the actual rosters. mainly for the sig skills) My bad haha.My NBA 2k Blog and VideosComment

Re: HyperBaller/DC NBA 2k13 Signature Skills Project
He's pretty good at finishing through contact, but is only above average in And-1% (3.2%), so Finisher is probably out.
He gets a lot of points from mid range jumpers, but I don't know if you've decided on criteria for non-3pt shooters to have Spot-up Shooter (plus he rarely shoots decisively off a catch, still hesitates, jab steps, or takes a single dribble to get his rhythm on most shots)
Due to what I just mentioned about his pre-shot habits, and the fact that his % of assisted shots keeps going down as his PPG goes up, I do think he should be strongly considered for Shot Creator.
Even though he isn't a spectacular dunker, he is right up there with Blake Griffin in alley-oop finishes every year (I believe he was actually leading the league at some point last season and may have been #1 in 10-11), so it would probably be appropriate to give him a dunk sig, if you can figure out which one makes more sense, especially since his dunk rating is unlikely to reflect his truly elite ability to catch and finish. Of course, now that he has none of Andre Miller or Rudy Fernandez from 2 years back, or Ray Felton and Marcus Camby who were all excellent at throwing them, he could go way down in that area this season."The power of accurate observation is often called cynicism, by those who don't have it." - George Bernard ShawComment

Re: HyperBaller/DC NBA 2k13 Signature Skills Project
Great job on these updates. As a hardcore raptors fan who watches all of their games here are my personal suggestions for their roster:
Demar DeRozan: to be honest, I don't think he deserves the finisher ability. Watching his games he seems to get blocked more than anyone going to the rim. While he is a decent finisher and gets to the line quite often, he struggles to finish through contact. However he may improve on this in the future. The acrobat ability does suit him well because of his proficiency using hop-steps, euro-steps, and spin layups.
Jamaal Magloire: It remains to be seen if he makes the final roster, but as long as this guy is in the league he will be a bruiser and a brick wall. Although his rating should be horrible, those are two attributes you can't deny as he is strictly an enforcer in this stage of his career, is extremely strong, and still bullies around anyone he is matched up with.

Kyle Lowry: might be the scrappiest, most hard nosed point guard in the league and is known for this. I would give him the scrapper skill.
<iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/uw6JozoISTM?rel=0" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="420"></iframe>
Andrea Bargnani: Isn't widely acknowledged as a great post player but nonetheless I think I would give him post proficiency. The reasoning for this is that he is one of the best in the league at using fakes to score on his defender, which is basically what this signature skill would provide. Bargnani has a lethally effective pump fake and this would be the best way to implement it in the game.

<iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/SILhaws-c10?rel=0" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="420"></iframe>
I would also think Bargnani would a be a good candidate for the Deadeye skill. If you watch his games you will notice that a contesting defender has little effect on his shots and he gets a lot of his baskets shooting over defenders. Quite a few "deadeye" shots in this video
<iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/mXm7ec9mQCg?rel=0" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="560"></iframe>
Bargnani isn't extremely streaky, he doesn't seem to get up or down on his confidence, so I would probably not give him microwave.
Jose Calderon: The dimer is a suitable by looking at his assist numbers alone. However I don't think he really deserves the alley-ooper skill. Only thing I can say is that watching his games, his alley-oop pass timing and precision is not up there with rest of his passing repertoire. In fact it is his court vision and offensive IQ that make him a solid passing PG.
Linas Kleiza: is not a spectacular player by any means but I actually think he qualifies for some signature skills. Not sure if he qualifies by your stats as a spot-up shooter but this is primarily his role in the NBA and where most of his baskets come from. He is a poor shooter off the dribble. This video is from Europe, but in the same way Kleiza usually sets up in the corners (corner specialist) and his quite proficient shooting in this area. He is also a very streaky shooter, he's either cold or on fire, and would be a good candidate for microwave.

Terrence Ross (rookie): I think he might end being an interceptor but we'll wait until he sets foot on an NBA court before making any judgements.Comment

Excellent suggestions. This is helpful since neither DCAllAmerican nor myself follow the Raptors. Allow me to break down the players mentioned above:
DeRozan: He met our FINISHER minimum requirement of 30 for Total "and1s" last season with 31.
Magloire: I agree 100%. He will have Brick Wall and Bruiser skills
Kyle Lowry: I know he is scrappy. But the issue with assigning him (or any other small PG) if that in 2k12, small PGs would literally jump over bigs for offensive rebounds. Until we can confirmed that is fixed, I will put this in his "other skills" section.
Andrea Bargnani: Giving him a high location shot tendency, high pumpfake tendency, and above average shot attributes will result in him faking players out of the gym. Giving him Post Proficiency will result in him having a better post game than he has in real life.
I gave him Microwave because he shot a low percentage last year, but is capable of putting up big numbers.
Calderon: We gave him Alley Ooper due to the high flying players he was playing along side with. But you are right. I removed this skill.
Linas Kleiza: Our Spot Up shooter criteria is STRICT, and he does not qualify. However, he may qualify for the Corner Specialist skill. I will have to research to make sure.
About giving him Microwave. he did have 16 out of 49 games in which he had at least 15 points. He only average 9 a game that season. So, I will look into it.
