After playing the demo do have any notes on sig skills you want to remove or add to those two teams?

From what I experienced from the demo:

<b>Acrobat</b>- I like how this skill activates automatically when a layup is being contested. Cannot wait to use Jordan with this one.
<b>Active Hands</b>- It could just be the demo, but I was able to do this with players without this skill. I think a high steal rating can compensate for this skill to make room for others.
<b>Ankle Breaker</b>- Surprisingly, was not as cheesy as the description stated. it works well with players who can blow by their defenders with quick moves.
<b>Brick Wall</b>- I don't know about this one. Kendrick Perkins was able to lay out LeBron 3 times in the same play with this skill.
<b>Bruiser</b>- I'm okay with this skill
<b>Chase Down Artist</b>- Have not had any success with this skill, which could be a good thing

Without going into details or with stats although some of my info is backed up. Here are a few things I noticed might need to be changed from just glancing at a few teams... I will post more later.

Metta World Peace - Take away lock down defender. I dont think he is deserving of this anymore. Maybe 3-4 years ago. I would give him Active hands though.

Udonis Haslem - Is he a lockdown defender? I dont think so...

Chauncey Billups - Shouldnt he have floor general or maybe even microwave?

Jamal Crawford - 3 Point specialist. He shot I believe it was 47% from corner 3's last year and this was with over 80 attempts.

Antawn Jamison - I am not sure I would give him the finisher. I could see maybe post preficiency or spot up shooter?

yeeysh, the Brick Wall Skill is resulting in a bit too many players getting dropped on their butts. Hopefully 2k will tone it down.

When I first saw this skill used by Perk in an early video, LeBron dropped like he was just clotheslined by Lawrence Taylor. I knew i had to get my hand on it first.
Then came the demo and wow, nothing changed. But the retail version is much different and after reading what Beluba and LD2K have been saying re changes in the retail build im not overly concerned.

That same thought continues with Highlight Film, as I saw way too many Windmill dunks...but again...retail you know.


Hyper> is it likely(prob not knowing of DC's old posts) we'll see Highlight Reel in your roster? Perhaps limited to 1 or 2 players like Gerald Green or someone?

Oh and if Brick wall see no changes, will you consider it unbalanced?
Or is it just annoying us because of the 'players falling over' animation happening too frequently?

Whoa...Danny Granger is not a shot creator unless you have some data that I'm not aware of.

Udonis Haslem - He is not a LOCKDOWN or a DEFENSIVE ANCHOR. I have him with HUSTLE POINTS and SCRAPPER. CHARGE CARD is a possibility, but so far we have only given this to players who are at the top of the list at charges taken.

Chauncey Billups - He definitely is a FLOOR GENERAL. After looking at his game logs from this past season (most points = 32, least points = 5) he is definitely streaking when it comes to his shooting. MICROWAVE or HEAT RETENTION may be appropriate.

Jamal Crawford - I have him with CORNER 3 and SHOT CREATOR

Antawn Jamison - I don't see why they gave him FINISHER. I did give him MICROWAVE due to his streaky shooting. I'll have to look into giving him POST PROFICIENCY.

In 2010-11 season, 51% of this points were from assist

In 2011-12 season, 58% of his points were from assist

I believe that our cut off for shot creator was 55% based on the last 2 seasons.

Then maybe I'm misunderstanding your intentions. When I think of shot creator, I think of someone who's able to create their own shot opportunities. In reality, your stats confirms what I thought...other players create a majority of Granger's shot opportunities.

We will have HIGHLIGHT FILM in our roster. However, who we assign this to depends on what dunk packages and how the new mini-packages will work. Hopefully, someone with the game will chime in on this. Otherwise, I will find out on Monday.

As for BRICK WALL; if it goes unchanged, we will have to figure out who really deserves it. But I should not see anyone knock down LeBron like I saw in the video.

You are right. It shows that more than half of his shots are creator for him, not by him. BUT when we dig deeper, most of those shots are 3's. From mid range, only 48% are shots assisted. When I think of this skill, I'm picturing someone creating a shot 16-23 ft out.

Originally, I had the cut off at 45-50%. But that was too low because that left out players like Pierce and Manu.

Me and DC decided that we were going to change these regardless of what they were out of the box. I had a feeling about how they would work, and according to what I saw from the demo, I was on point for most of them.

I would definitely add ankle breaker to this list for J Craw?! He maybe has some of the best handles in the league IMO. He will just make you look stupid... LOL!

And from what I found out on the demo is that it just makes it easier for the player with Ankle Breaker equipped to get past his man easier (Sealing the defender off as he drives past). I experienced this with Westbrook in the demo and saw video evidence of this with Deron Williams (who also got Ankle Breaker I think).

Edit: Ignore the unsim like gameplay lol. Look at how easily Deron is able to seal off Felton and get to the rim whenever he wants to? I think this might be do in part to the Ankle Breaker skill. In the demo I haven't been able to do it with anyone other than Westbrook consistently.
