MyTeam Mobile Discussion

I hope gamedad sees this and bans them

NBA Basketball, College Football, Work, Sleep, Repeat..

If only we could ban everyone who acts like a huge D bag. Also I would like to see the rest of that, like who instigated. You never know if the other guy just started calling those with the AS pros cheaters.

I received a few of the packs, got in on the last 5-10 min, but i wouldn't rub other faces in it.

Guys, this isn't "they are punishing you for their mistake" this is "fixing their mistake." Their mistake messed the game up. It is no longer balanced. Star's mean nothing now unless its an All Star or HOF or RS or Event. This is the issue. The game is not balanced and they need to restore it.


If that means deleting everyone's all stars (mine included) so be it. But the bigger issue is the balance of the game and keeping it.

Guys, this isn't "they are punishing you for their mistake" this is "fixing their mistake." Their mistake messed the game up. It is no longer balanced. Star's mean nothing now unless its an All Star or HOF or RS or Event. This is the issue. The game is not balanced and they need to restore it.

True but....... It's not that simple as many have explained, mainly seasons, trained cards, WCs. Also what about all the freebie star cards that flooded the market when they were bumped up to star tier, what are you going to do about those? Some made out like bandits buying up those for super cheep.

If someone bought a cheap star card and got a pro from it, then good for them. That doesn't hurt the balance of the game.


Having the game flooded with pro all star cards does hurt it.

It's bad that some people got cards for free, but it's ok that some other people got cards for next to nothing.

Same situation here, except I'm the #4 seed with a lot of full AS lineups that haven't energized at 5-8. Plus you have people gloating like this that really grinds my gears:

Sucks not that bad in my chat just some panicking they might get banned but laughing at getting free decks

Yes. Do you know there is a difference from All Star Star cards and Star cards? It doesn't matter that some people bought Star cards for 30k RP instead of the higher prices. That doesn't throw off the balance of the game.

Even though you might be right about the imballance and something needs to happen. I just feel like that would let them of the hook way to easy.
I know almost everyone would agree that the future of this game should be put first, but we shouldnt have to accept it that the backlash will fall on the players. Let CD take some of the hits this time.

Let's also keep in mind that they couldn't have cared less about the integrity of the game, seeing as how they just said screw it we will wait until we are back in the office to deal with it. They have no damage control whatsoever and their PR sucks, this was potentially a game breaking mistake. I mean come on it's been three days since the incident and still no "official" statement. Only a random post on Facebook.

Well if they didn't care about revenue, then they could let this go, but that goes against every other decision CD has ever made.

Not even an official post at that, just something supposedly sent to a private group (which if true, makes me think that they are considering no acknowledgement and no action as an option, smh). They may not wake up and smell the coffee until they see a flood of refund request to Google/Apple and credit card disputes.

I wonder how 2K feels about all this. Seriously, how hard is it to put out a "we are looking at all options" statement? They already have some industry examples like EA and Madden.

CD will probably release a statement which goes something like this:

"We are aware that all-star packs were mistakenly being sold for 0 credits for a short period of time on Saturday. While we understand that this is unfair for the majority of the players who have worked hard to build up their decks by playing the game and/or purchasing card packs, we have examined the data and have determined that only a small portion of the player base was able to take advantage of this temporary change in all-star pack price. Since this is a fault on our part, we are not going to penalize any players that purchased the all-star packs during this time. We are therefore not going to delete or remove any of the cards that were obtained during this time. As a consolation to all of our players, we are giving each player 10,000 RP, which can be used to purchase cards on the AH. We thank you for your cooperation and understanding."

I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy.

Whether someone was enriched with a free card or with an almost free card, they got a card that they otherwise wouldn't have gotten.
