I just don't see how all the cards are going unseen, like 95% of cards put up are going unsold.Comment

Re: Update 5 Release Notes and Auction House Beta
Here's my 2 cents on the AH beta:
Overall great UI and very easy to use, and will expand the options in the game. the way I see it, user should be able to get a card or 2 of of the AH to improve his LU, but not jump from SR to STAR, and the current state seems to be exactly that.
Bugs
1. Sort seems not to work exactly as expected. sometimes it seems to take the previous search when displaying result.
2. user can click the buttons while the 'enter number' window is opened (this might also be the way some users managed to bid with lower than minimum numbers...
Features:
1. option to filter by Pro/Non-pro/Fully trained. I know this can be obtained by 'sort by rating' or some filter of OFF, but it would be easier as a specific filter, and the sort can be used for something else (sort by minimum cost)
2. option to sort by BIN value
3. Notifications - much more complicated to implement... but it could be nice to set search criteria and get notifications that a card is on the market matching what you requested.
Regulation
Without going too deep into the actual numbers (30%, 20 post fee, minimums), I can just say that:
1. everything got a market, if the price is right, even trained UC are being sold for players that wants a day off grinding... and the market will balance itself (as can be seen in the deals being made in the forum), I'm sure CD monitors all transactions, and I hope the numbers will be adjusted accordingly (of course the same price for PRO and single is a critical anomaly that should be addressed)
2. if the 20 post fee is meant to keep the AH from spam, it would be fair to refund those credits (or half?) if the card has been sold (a clear indication this was not a 'spam' post...). this seems like a small amount, but if someone wants to sell trained UC, taking off 20 out of the coins he'll earned seems to be too much just for a 'regulation fee'.
3. trade - this will happen, we have the technology... and CD gets their 30% of both sides. so it would be great if this could be part of the AH, instead of doing this outside of the game...
Overall, as said before, I think the AH was well (and carefully) built, it did not 'broke' the game, and the idea one can buy one or two specific cards and advance a bit is good.
with some minor adjustments, it will make for a fun addition to the grind-grind-grind part of the game.
Thanks!Comment

Re: Update 5 Release Notes and Auction House Beta
It wil close so we can make changes and bug fixes. On Monday morning we will prevent players from posting more auctions in order to let them bleed out for the Beta end on Wednesday at 5pm PST. That means you need to collect your Credits and Cards before that end date.NWGameDad

And is there an approximate date when it will come back? Or will it be "coming soon"?Comment

Re: Update 5 Release Notes and Auction House Beta
I don't think you understand how delusional you sound.
If you don't want to spend money, and you don't have valuable goods to sell, WHY on Earth do you believe you should be able to get into the market? At a high level?
If you have a weak deck, and want to upgrade... you're gonna have to spend money or grind. CD isn't just gonna give away top level decks. It completely undermines their business, and it completely undermines the process of the game. The game would be stupid if everyone was just given amazing decks.
I do a lot of grinding and to me that is the main reason for the game, make your deck better on your own.
i don´t like those players who have 20 Games and do already have a Ultra Rare or Epic deck. You should begin from the Scratch, like everybody.
The market as it is right now, is just for a few players. Because for example lower tier players could provide higher tier players with trained Cards to avoid grinding from a certain stage on.
Just as one idea.
I don´t want tons of credits, I want a better market where everybody could participate theoretically.
If you follow the market you see what happened, Minimum bids where to high, so everybody is looking for ways to lower them.
A real market shouldn´t be like that, open it for everybody and let it growth by his own.Comment

Just to make it clear, currently there is no market for newer players.

You have the option RIGHT NOW, to sell cheap trainer cards to lazy players. I don't think that's a viable strategy, but if you think it is, it's already available.
The only barrier to entry would be the 20 credit listing fee. As far as I'm concerned, if you can't put up 20 credits, that means two things: A) you haven't played NBA2K15 (even tnough there are easy ways to get around this) and B) you're not willing to spend $2 (!) to buy some credits. From the developer's perspective, if you're not willing to do either of these things... why should they care about you? You're a leach.
And I don't get how people have such terrible decks anyway.
I'm a free player, and before AH opened, I had 7 Star Pros. That's probably on the high side, but for people to still have no sellable cards at this point in the game's life.. it just means you don't really play much. There are TOO many ways to get great cards in this game already. Season rewards are SUPER generous, drop rates are exponentially better than last year, RC rewards are easily attainable.. If you don't have ANY to sell, you must not play the game much. So again, if that's the case, why should the developer create features based around your wants?
If you don't have cards to sell at this point, and/or you don't have $2 you're willing to spend to get started, I don't understand how you can be invested enough in this game to complain.Comment

Even if there were no minimums at all, if you're not willing to spend money, and you have no valuable commodities, you're not gonna be able to participate in the market.

Re: Update 5 Release Notes and Auction House Beta
Either your lying or you have absolutely no life at all. The system is flawed hands down. Even if you spend money. Your still being taxed 30% on every sale which is rediculous. As a mid range player I should be able to sell at least one of my cards to a lower end player. But I can't cause they have no money.Comment

Then play RC. That doesn't apply really anymore, since RC rewards kinda suck now, relative to a decent deck.. But yeah... They give out great cards so easily in this game...
The real flaw in the system is that there are not really that many credits to get in the game unless you buy them. I think that if they should change out you getting VC by playing QGs. And to make it so credits are still worth something give us like 5 credits or so per game played instead of the 50 VC. That way you still have to grind to buy a high tier card. Like if you wanted a legend with out doing the buy back method you would have to play 500 games to buy a legend.Comment
