I lost 15% of my games, often by running into HOFers and MVPers, there was no such thing as a no-brainer for me that RC.

After 2 days I tried a lower tiered deck, it actually yielded worse results, so I'll not believe anyone who thinks +5 is a no-brainer even for 3/2ers. So that leads me to your whole 'extra risk' statement, have you any idea how hard the +5's are if you run your 5 best cards? If I'm losing 15% of my games whilst running my best 3/2 for winning, can you imagine how little I'd win if i ran 5 of them?

Here's a test for you, the next RC is coming up, pick your 5 best cards and play the +5 deck exclusively, I bet you can't even win 100 games games a day, no matter how much you grind.
Of course I can't. Most of the decks you face will be 3/2. Beating a 3/2 deck with a full five card deck is near impossible. That is my point. Not so much that +5 and 3/2 is a no brainer but that 3/2 is. Only a moron would play an RC with a balanced deck. Even winning +3s is hard that way.

I kinda like the idea of instead of playing against a persons QG lineup you play against their 5 best cards. Or at least their best card at each position.

Especially as the AI is pretty predictable making running into 3/2's not such a big deal.

My problem wasn't that they are unbeatable, although in a +5 with a balanced lineup they are. My problem is they are boring. I like watching the card. To clarify to someone earlier, I don't watch the entire animation. But I don't blindly click away either. But as is, I don't even want to see the 4th and 5th quarter because it is only my best cards bitch slapping some scrub cards. Where is the fun in that? Essentially the game comes down to one matchup which is often the 2nd quarter.

I use a 3/2 in rivals and a 4/1 or 5/0 in QG depending on what I am trying to achieve. I fail to see how it harms anyone else and when I run 3/2 my deck would be easy to own. Play your best card 2nd and then your other two 4th and 5th and you will beat me 95%+

Which illustrates my point. The only quarter that is even usually worth even looking at is the 2nd quarter. The other 4 quarters are crap cards against awesome cards. Thrilling.

If you aren't trying to win RC, why not just play QGs.

Playing +1 games in rc gives you an additional card at the end. Most likely won't be worth anything to your deck but it's an extra card to use for training even if it's just an ur. There is no downside if you are full up on energy.

Actually, there is a downside. You end up with hot streak cards instead of player cards when drafting a reset. Plus you end up drafting more energy instead of player cards if you aren't full of energy.

You can always qg for 10 energies then swap back to rc. +1 is better than qg if you can finish game in 4 qtrs or don't really have to think to win games. Which is great when your multitasking.

Hot shot resets haven't been an issue to me. I only got 5-7 during the last event and I got around 6.8k points.

I'm more pissed about getting boosts. Those drop rates are way higher and are a true waste of a board clear when your maxed out.

I don't have time this RC to make a push for top 1k so I'm going to +1 all the way through. Need to train up some AH fodder.

Then that's 5 to 7 less possible players cards which may negate the possible RC card reward depending upon the tier you are in your QG lineup. But I get what you are accomplishing, easy mode to multitask. It's a valid strategy. Especially if +1 games are that much easier than QGs.

I think so, I believe I got my 1,200 credit ladder reward over the last RC.

Yea they do but if you use the QG tab to track how many games you have to go, you have to a play a QG for them to show.

yeah, so we're not huge fans of the 3/2. philosophically, we want players to get awesome cards, put those awesome cards in their decks, and then perform better as a result. that rush you get whenever you pull something new or fantastic? we like that. that feeling you feel when a card really completes your five-man deck? we love that. making a decision to NOT use a card because it benefits your matchmaking isn't something we're all that after (minus the edge cases when you want to, say, avoid tipping over ++ until you receive a few more cards).

we've tried to tackle the 3/2 a couple of times and my impression is that we finally got it. there's some more testing to do, i think, but we'll get that out to you as soon as possible.

(also, sorry about the vagueness -- the fix is a 'secret sauce' kind of thing.)

I admire your guys persistency but with the amount of gamers(there are alot of them) and the amount of people looking to exploit(again there are alot of them) its only a matter of time before someone finds a weakness

Personally I lose a match against a 3/2 lu just as often as I lose to a 5/0 lu. I use a 3/2 lu as well because I CANNOT win +5 without it. I see no problem.
