Seems there was another round of blocks today after the maintenance, and my account got locked. Reading this thread doesn't instill me with confidence that it will get unlocked, even though I've never done anything but play the game with no bots, hacks, account selling, etc of any kind.

The account locking mechanism needs to be checked. I don't even think I'm that fast, and I have a full-time job and a wife, so my games played aren't even that high.

I've already emailed the card issue group and tweeted my 2nd tweet of all time to NWGamerDad hoping for a quick resolution before RTTC tomorrow. But yeah... I've gone months without a response in the past for other issues, so I'm probably just going to get over the addiction and not return by the time it's resolved.

In case somebody on my team or on the support staff is reading this, in game name is Dr Funk.

Could anyone here share what "potential" indicators that would lock the game? I learnt from the forum and I feel like some of them are innocent but still got banned/locked. I read through and learnt from others that a lot of them did not receive response more than 2 weeks, a few of them got reply on confirmation of ban, and it has very few having unlocked without any solid reason (just said violating EULA/TOS).

I am really really scared the account is locked without any reason and without any date to be unlocked.

Besides those bots or unhuman tracks that they should be banned, Is it related to:
1. No real $ spent on the game or packs but the RP is too high?
2. Tapping too fast in RC?
3. Using multiple accounts to play?
4. Log in and out too many times?
5. any others?

Kindly send in your experience or your guess.

I spent a small amount of money on this game (<$100), didn't much participate in this past RC, and only have the one account. So those aren't it.

But I generally know what card I want to play before it will let me play it, so I do tap a fair bit on it before it actually goes through, which I suppose could be a warning sign, but I always answer the pin-pad "prove you're not a robot" thing quickly and correctly when it comes up, so I don't know.

I also sold a lot of cards on the auction house today, so maybe it somehow thinks I have a racket going on in there?

At any rate, there won't be any answers posted in here, as they won't want to give cheaters a heads up on what they are looking for. And honestly, I don't care about the reasons, as long as they stop banning and quickly fix the mistakes for people who have done nothing but play the game in a normal way with no hacks/cheats/bots/account selling/whatever else.

My account also got locked after the last network maintenance. I tweeted Danan and submitted feedback but up to now no response or help unlocking my account.


I know that I'm not the only one having this false accusation of speed hacking or bot. Support should realize that there is something wrong on how they detect hacking/botting.

My account got unlocked, but I am disappointed that I was given a warning for botting and/or speed hacking? This detection system is falsely banning people.

Did u play a lot in RC? How far did you go in last RC? I suspect they banned because someone played so fast.

Yes, I emailed them. It took them 24 hours to respond, which is fast compared to others who said it took almost a week for a response. Then, I became disappointed when I was accused of using cheats and given a warning.

That's really fast. I'm waiting almost a week now and got no response of the developers. Only from the support department. But they are saying we cannot do anything for you.

Make sure you completely deny any cheating or botting. Then tell them your story. And keep your cool. It's up to customer service(human beings) to unlock your account and they are less likely to help irate individuals spewing harsh words or insults. Just my 2 cents.

got a response from support within 24 hours, who didnt react to what I was saying. Just hinted that EULA was violated.
The support ticket which was in english language told me something about cheating.

People I know who spent a LOT are banned.

No explanation as to why.

I was just banned without reason, although I clicked correctly on the triangle with the bull icon during the anti-bot check.

This is really sad after over 17k games played and money spent in the game. It just shows how sad and money-hungry of a company Catdaddy is.

To all the users that have played myNBA2k14 & 15 and got the habit of mindlessly tapping while watching movies/tv shows/sports, working, driving, etc.... START PAYING ATTENTION with the new picture validation... (unless mindlessly tapping like crazy is considered speed hacking... then my fingers and knuckles would like to appeal!!!)

Got the infamous ban for probably missing the picture validation more than 3 times while Quick Gaming for energies to see if I can pull off an upset in the semifinals of my playoffs... Actually didn't see what happened until I looked at the phone afterwards and saw the dreaded error message so technically it could've been anything...

While this ban can at tough time with staff off for holidays and with two major (possibly final legendary) events coming up... this may be a blessing in disguise for real-life purposes as I was basically cruising with a set line-up anyway...

So... Team Ninja... my bad since you were counting on me to be one of the RttC finishers (haven't seen anybody on my team on this board)... See y'all in a couple of weeks if I get my account back!!

For everyone else, I'll update my threads if I get back... otherwise, HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND GOOD LUCK ON YOUR MYNBA2K16 GOALS!!

Same happened to my 6 year old. He hasn't played in days, he opened the app edited his rttc deck, closed the app, reopened it and bam, banned. It makes no sense, he's six!
