Wow, I shouldn't keep my hopes up then. My tapping may be too much for them lol. Created an alternative account so I could tell team captain about my situation and do some light playing, but I definitely won't be playing as much as I did before. The heavy playing will come back if my main account is returned (I'll promise to slow down on tapping!), otherwise there's no real point for me to continue.

That being said, the little playing that I'm doing, can't believe I'm excited to see rarest and super rares again!

Then I tweeted @NWGameDad Danan Davis asking for help/explanation for this false accusation then he tweeted back "People are not getting banned mistakenly. To dispute a ban send in a Feedback -> Card Issues."


This is BS, support won't listen to your explanation and Danan keep telling us to send a dispute to support. What type of support catdaddy have? I sent a lot of email with no response then after a week they will answer with a stupid answer that you are hacking. Why do we need to beg to play their games? 2K games should drop working with CATDADDY, they are ruining 2K reputation. 2K support are great but CATDADDY don't waste your time.

Yeah I received the exact same email (word for word) and after trying to dispute this by sending 10 more emails I have not received a reply for any of these. It would seem as if they just have this copy and pasted and send it to everyone at this point...

CD has gone off the deep end. Their cheating verification is obviously broken, banning people so easily without any real investigation. They made a speed tapping game with no real challenge that encourages people to mindlessly tap in many cases, without looking at the screen. They want people to finish their rttc game making it take so much time to complete we have to drop all our real life responsibilities during the holidays.

So people are tapping furiously everywhere they go, in the car, in the store, on the couch, at work, etc. just to make it through the 4 day event. Of course, people are inevitably hitting the wrong image on the verification because they aren't always looking at the screen. To top it off, there is no confirmation window when you tap a verification image. Many people are being falsely accused and banned by this ridiculous attempt at a verification system. The system is flawed. It's time to own up. No one should ever be banned without a real human investigation. Auto ban is poor design.

How can CD do this to people? CD is demanding our complete attention for 4 days, forcing us to drop everything to complete their events, and punishing those who attempt to fit this game into their daily responsibilities. It is poor design and bad business. CD is taking people's hard earned money and precious time, then literally kicking them out and branding them a cheat with no real investigation. People should be reporting CD AND 2K to the BBB. I include 2K because it is 2K's fault for hiring an incompetent company to program a game for them. People should be going nuts on the forums, twitter, and facebook over this. Perhaps, it's time to make a petition to remove this horrible attempt at a verification system.

I spend my free time with MM now and this game can't last long, it totally sucked. All the cards are basically the same to me and you have to pay for everything.

To all the users that have played myNBA2k14 & 15 and got the habit of mindlessly tapping while watching movies/tv shows/sports, working, driving, etc.... START PAYING ATTENTION with the new picture validation... (unless mindlessly tapping like crazy is considered speed hacking... then my fingers and knuckles would like to appeal!!!)

Got the infamous ban for probably missing the picture validation more than 3 times while Quick Gaming for energies to see if I can pull off an upset in the semifinals of my playoffs... Actually didn't see what happened until I looked at the phone afterwards and saw the dreaded error message so technically it could've been anything...

While this ban can at tough time with staff off for holidays and with two major (possibly final legendary) events coming up... this may be a blessing in disguise for real-life purposes as I was basically cruising with a set line-up anyway...

So... Team Ninja... my bad since you were counting on me to be one of the RttC finishers (haven't seen anybody on my team on this board)... See y'all in a couple of weeks if I get my account back!!

For everyone else, I'll update my threads if I get back... otherwise, HAPPY HOLIDAYS AND GOOD LUCK ON YOUR MYNBA2K16 GOALS!!

One week and 12 hours later... Spencer from CD Feedback Group reinstated me with note on "Please be more careful when you are select images for our games as this is a onetime account restoration."

Won't be able to play much over next 24 hours or so, and in process of working with team on getting back onto the squad. All things considered (next tier coming out soon), missing out on the X-mas RttC wasn't the worst thing in the world. Now to tinker with RC lineup and season lineup for efficiency...

I got banned 4 days ago, after hit up the wrong verification code, due to the fact I was walking and tapping.
I exit from the app, opened it again and boom --> Error 10-200 your account banned.

Calling cheater people that just hit accindentally an image that pop out on the screen, and you for play have to tap tap tap the screen, isn't so nice...

I hope tomorrow CD support will give me some feedback, I just sent two email to them, but probably they are still in vacation...

I've worked in CS before for quite a busy online tech shop. Individually I used to have to deal with around 200 support tickets per day. Sometimes, you do have to postpone a few by one or two days, especially if they are 'low priority'. (CD believes in their anti-cheat system so they probably consider you guys low priority).

But 1 week is just ridiculous to hear any feedback at all.

Spencer is a bot in my season that has his top 10 cards as partially trained Jerry West pros.....that probably reflects his lack of creativity in support responses.

It also bothers me that their new anti-cheating system generically comes up after every 10 games played, whether or not you've played those games in a 6 minute period or a 6 hour period. Someone who plays 10 games in 6 hours is obviously not using a speed hack and the unexpected captcha screen after first logging into the game has caught me entering the wrong code at least twice this weekend.

At least the old system (numeric key pad code entry) had the logic to figure this out. Unless I was grinding with no interruption at work for about 10 games, I never got the numeric code entry. And when I wasn't paying attention and got the numeric code entry at least there was a margin for error, since you had to press four numbers AND press enter. With this new system, there is no margin for error. And most times, I think I am entering the wrong code more than once before I even notice.

I played 2k15 and 2k16 but after reading all the issues with the banning of accounts, i seriously consider leaving this app forever. I've never been banned before but me too, i play while watching movies or sports. I just don't pay so much attention when i play on a phone. This banning of players is just so random, it's so easy to tap the wrong icon. I don't want my account blocked after investing so much time in the app, so i will just quit it on my own. At least i stayed a free player this year, since CD likes to add new tiers and sub-tiers as pleased (MVP cards are totally useless with Xmas cards and RS, that was also the case last year)
