Yeah on the Dunk vs Layup slider it's tricky you actually have to set it low because at default it's like 50/50 and when you go down to like 25 that gives a dunk ration of 25 to 75 for layup. So, the CPU will attempt to dunk like 25% of the time if they are in range.

I actually have the game it's the system that I don't have right now. So, I've played the game briefly. I won't get the system for another week right now......

IMO, details like the sig shots and arenas wear off when youre really into the game and trying to play some hard nosed defense, trying to get out of a 10 pt. deficit. Most people don't say, "my god, the skating was terrible on that defensive effort. but holy cow, those arenas are great". then again, i could be wrong
Skating is gone in the 360 version.

Don't blame me if you don't like it. I can tell you this I have played pro ball and have alot of experience. The reason why I like the game is the spacing in the half court setting. So if you aren't really a bball fan or know alot about the game then you won't like it. I just notice players like Cat Mobley on the break will sometimes spot up at the 3 point line instead of filling the lane, while Maggette will always fill the lane. So like I said if you won't notice these things than you might not want to open it. But if these are things that you like, then you should like it. Couple things:
            Put speed at 100
Find a comfortable angle for you(I like baseline Zoom at 8-10, height 9)
            Lower block ability
            Bump up d assist
            Lower shooting by 10
Last have fun and enjoy the start menu, with Marion.

i havent got to play the game that much exept for a few minutes at gamestop, one thing im noticing alot with all the next gen games ive seen especially live is that the colors actually looks like colors, they dont look faded out, seeing nash in the orange suns uniform and his hair flowing is really a sign of next gen. ahhh when will 360's be available..

                Re: It's not that bad

I had a nice game with Lakers vs. Miami Heat!! I play on All-Star, up the game speed to 85 and everything else on default!! Shaq & Wade had 34 a piece!! While Kobe drop 54 on me and Odom drop 25 and the quiet storm was Mckey(EA where is Smush Parker!!) he drop 25 and about 8 dimes!! and the best thing about this game is I lost to the Lakers 114 to 103!!!

Now I know some of U guys are saying Live is arcadish and the player movements are slow, trust me I was one these guys, But Live 360 seems to be heading in the right direction of a Basketball Sim.(Tweak Sliders for this year's version of NBA Live 360!!).

As far as the Heat & Lakers game, If I had the Guru(Playmaker) Sliders sets the players Points would have look like this; Shaq & Wade 24 points a piece, Kobe 34 points, Odom 15 points and Mckey would 've 15 points and 5 to 7 dimes!! which would've made the game alot more Realistic in gameplay and in Statistics!!!

PS: The Crowd reaction in this game is one of the best I've experience!! When I was down by almost 20 points, the Crowd at Miami Arena was Dead, not a sound except may be a boo here and there, But when I got about three defensives stops and started to cut the lead to 15 the Crowd started to come back alive again! D.Wade got 3 more steals and Slam-Dunked all 3 and the Crowd went into a Frenzy!! Forcing the Lakers to call time-outs going into Halftime only down by 2 points!! Awesome Experience!!!

I have to agree with you on the experience. I have learned to LOVE playing at Home and HATE playing on the Road in this game. The crowds are the best I have EVER seen, bar none. Clearly a lot of effort was put in here. Coming down the stretch in a close game and they are all on their feet, exploding every time something good happens and groaning every time you fail to score. I swear when I put up a 3 the crowd goes quiet and everyone stops moving for a brief moment and then BOOOOOOM! they explode when it drops. Crazy.

Not everyone plays dynasty... Hell I barely even get through a season on any sports video game... I'm to busy playing online or playing exhibition games with different teams..

I actually played it more this weekend with some friends who have the system and it's pretty good. I only slightly messed around with sliders for head to head to play and loved it. We played about 3 games before getting into Madden. I hate the fact that I can't post any sliders to help guy's out. But this baby is definetly cool and worth it after you tweak somethings.

We found a very nice camera angle which let us see most of the action on both ends and it made the gameplay look and feel much better. I wanted to jack my boy for his system.....

I love the pick n roll in this game and he actually did some great things on me in the transistion game when I played him. I don't know where people get arcade from because this game with tweaks is far from arcade. We found that gamespeed at 90 is pretty good aswell. I'm really bumming right now especially since my boy was suppose to get me a system aswell that week but they only allowed 1 unit per person and I got stuck at work....

I think alot of people are saying its arcade because of all the dunks on default. However with tweaks you can minimize them.

Yeah you can actually almost eliminate dunks completely if you like but the dunks are so outstanding in this game it wouldn't bother me to see 8-10 dunks per game if you lower the dunk vs layup slider. It also effects the amount of alley oop dunks aswell.

I saw Vince Carter pull off an alley from Kidd baseline that was plain sick over the weekend. I'm hating life right now without this damn system.
