Had to add this...!

I am playing Detroit...Ben Wallace got the offensive rebound, there was a crowd under the basket, he turned and passed OUT to Tayshaun Prince at the 3 point line...who steadied...and nailed the three ball...

Next Detroit possession...they went in to Sheed. I doubled teamed him...and he passed out of it to Prince again for the open 3 ball (this time from the other wing) and he nailed the 3 ball. Never seen a game pass out like that so well before...

The Palace went crazy.

Billups has been taking those pull up 3 point J's all game also...

Not much sign of Rip so far...though i've got him on tight d / doubling when he gets it.

They've gone inside to Sheed a lot...Ben just rebounding and put backs.

I am starting to love this game.

Looked great seeing Prince take those 3 balls with his sig J also...

I love how teams play to their strenghts, but most importantly how they take advantage of the users mistakes. Also the speed factor is something that is handled real well in this game. Ex a slow center gets switched to a fast pg. You can call a iso and blow past him. However the d will be waiting for the help, so you have to spot the open man. I played this game all night last night. Man the arenas alone are enough to buy this game, just to see them and watch the crowd light up.
ON a side note: Court can you help me with the post up game. The only moves I can do are spin out of the post and that fake on way turn the other way drop step? I want to do the shoulder charge and the complete drop step move as well. I could do them on current but next gen I can't do it?

Just a heads up for those that don't have live yet. Gamestop and Eb are doing a buy 2 get 1 free on their used 360 games. I just got back from taking advantage of this deal. I got Madden, Live, and brace yourself Call of Duty. So if you are on the fence about live and have 2 games that you want. you can get live for free. Hope that helps.

Not to be a stickler but I think Kidd stopped doing this last year because his son started imitating him during REC games and people were getting pissed.

Who the F cares???? If his son is doing that big deal. Some people need to lighten up. Its not like he's talking junk or waving the Dikembe finger.

Playmakers man when are you getting the 360? I'm starting to not feel 2K6's game again because it is playing too much like the old system game after awhile. I tried Live on launch day and can't seem to get it up to speed like the current system game was after your sliders. I'm not good at messing with stuff and this game has some potential if I knew what too mess me. It's definetly very good as you said for two player but I like playing alone during the week. Do you have any suggestions what to tweak right now.

I finally broke down and and got it on EBAY tonight. I should have it by the weekend or early next week.....

I was holding out for FRY's to get their shipment out here but they kept giving me the runaround so I said screw it. I'll hook up sliders by the middle of next week for sure. I'm not sure yet if playbooks needs touched maybe slight tweaks depending on personel. I know Artest is about to leave Indy so that's one Playbook that might need adjusted.

Yeah, which is why I want to make VERY clear that anyone considering buying this should know beforehand (and thus accept) that this is a far from complete game. There's a lot missing and it does require sliders + cameras changed to even beome playable.

After those, it's pretty cool IMO and really gives a nice 'glimpse' of what the next gen will bring for NBA gaming.

I could never go back to a game without signature J's and in game play books / ...these should become mandatory from now on.

Here's a photo I took just to give you guys an idea of how easy it is to call your plays and set them from withing the game. This list scrolls a long way down...there's heaps to use.

One below also of a Lakers v Detroit game showing the spacing...which is very good and even better after sliders / if you call plays. You can easily swing the ball around the perimeter etc.

Last one is Rip Hamilton at the free throw line.

Thanks for those pictures brother. Those look awesome. That play calling is going to be a dream for me. The spacing looks excellent, and that camera view isn't bad at all. That one doesn't cut away and just show the ball does it? Hopefully my game will be here tomorrow.

That camera doesn't follow the ball Will. It's press maxed both height and zoom. Occasionally it fails to keep up with a fast break...apart from that, it's actually an excellent camera to play the game with.

Seriously though...it's probably one of only a few camera angles that actually work. Wait until you use the broadcast cam, you'll know what we mean. It's a pity as the graphics look incredible on the broadcast cam.

Well, that camera view looks pretty amazing right there. The spacing looks awesome. I can't wait until it finally gets here. I'm contemplating going out and picking this up, and when my copy gets here, I'll take it back to the store for a refund.

I just want to play this game. I didn't want the demo, because if it's different from the full version, I didn't want it to leave a bad taste for me. The spacing and graphics look awesome though. The lack of emotion, and lack of replays are going to bother me because I love to see replays full of emotion :y4:, but other than that, I think this game will be alright with the right set of sliders.

And now that PM has got a 360, I think we should be good to go

I can't wait to create the Old Bulls and run w/ the young guns in the league. Should be a blast.
