. For 2010, they need to add ALOT more animations for all kinds of situations. If they add a lot and clean up some of the weird ones, along with adding better interior defense/bodies banging inside, better rim/net/ball physics engine, and signature moves/packages/etc, we will be looking at one amazing game next year.

I've only had time with the demo so I can't form a good opinion on the game. But going by 08 and the demo, it's a decent game that could still use some work as it's still very rough around the edges. They have some really good ideas in place like the playcalling system, a non-useless zone defense, and the phenomenal court spacing, all of which that I wish 2K had.

Because i'm not biased and open minded? And try new things? That's kind of close minded if you ask me. I personally think it's kind of creepy that you guys have held a grudge on taht for so long.... When i just really liked 2k9 and tried live and liked it better. You guys do realize that games do get better right and each game offers different things? I dont see what i'm saying that is out of whack. 2k9 came out and it was traditionally the best bball game and 2k refined it. I like what 2k did and I still do. I played live and liked it better. For mods of a forum that's pretty immature on your part.

Flip flopping is going back and forth. I have not gone back to 2k9. I'm just progressing and being open minded and played both games this year.. I hadnt played live until a few weeks ago and really like it after i gave it time. That's kind of pathetic trying to make someone out to be something they aren't man..

IMO, i like NBA 2k9 more than Live 09 b/c the animations are real time and not scripted like in live ( ft animations), and not to mention the stadiums and their respective sounds are authentic. But as Steven A. Smith would say, HOWEVA, live plays better fundamental basketball than 2K9 does.
I just hope that next year Live can mimic 2K9's broadcast package and that the EA team will work on the fastbreaks and the crazy animations

If anyone asks me, Madden, nba 2k9, Fifa and NHL seem like the only sports games worth buying this year. Unfortunately im not a soccer or hockey fan.... Live should have been rented and nothing more.

I dont know if I can take you seriously because i wasn't saying what you thought dude and you are being really pathetic? Yes games get better. You do realize this right? next year if EA does the right things live 2010 will most likely be better than 09. That's pretty logical. I dont see what is so complicated there. Answer - I just have a lot of fun playing it. I know it's not perfect, but it's been like crack for me.
I'll agree it may not be a sim monster at all times, but I always find games end with sim results ... except when I'm playing Cleveland. For some reason, Live 09 just doesn't get Cleveland. LeBron is a damn decoy in this game and not a go-to guy.
