Beluba...How about just using last years control scheme for backing down a player. You clicked the right stick and the player would back-down or post up. It's a nice solution because you can keep the RB button for the quick plays and would be very nature to say. You click the right stick and you use the post-moves with the same stick also. Never have to move your thumb.

I have the RS click semi-functioning on my build at the moment. But it's not working 100% the way we want. Even seemingly simple changes like this are never easy.

Thats why next time you release a demo 2 months early so that u have enought time to put it in the final version instead of trying to patch it!!!!!

Keep us updated on that. When you mean it's not working 100% it doesn't always trigger the animation or what. I think we can comprise here.

Keep us updated on that. When you mean it's not working 100% it doesn't always trigger the animation or what. I think we can comprise here.

When you're stationary, the dribbler will turn to protect like last year. but as soon as you start to move, he'll turn to face the direction he's moving. Our locomotion engineer is looking into it.

Which leads me to the cpu play and why this game, at this point (maybe could be fixed w/sliders) does not play like real basketball...

3. Outside of the paint I have yet and I mean not once seen the cpu initiate a post up position. My guess, is that because of the auto post up needed to be activated by contact and there is really no way for the user to do that on defense, the cpu cannot do it. Maybe I am doing something wrong on defense, but it just takes away from the realism aspect of the game. I mean the only thing that differentiates Kobe from Fisher is that Kobe shoots and scores more. So everyone has turned into a straight up jump shooter and slasher. No fadeaways at all. I mean fadeways off the post position are such a huge part of Kobe's game but they are not in this game. Artest and Odom (more so Artest) do alot of their moves off of a post position but not here, Artest all he does is shoot jumpers on me.

Can someone confirm / deny this?

That's a huge let down if Biz is right.

Kobe would post on the elbow sometimes, and in one of Beluba's videos RJ was posting up his man. So I've seen it done, don't know if it's done enough, but it's there.

I know that it has to happen but honestly I have never seen it. Also (not to come off as negative) but if you look closely as the RJ post up its a result of bodies bunching up as Wade ran into Duncan and as soon as he did that RJ went into auto post up. It looks like RJ was going to do something else (about to drive) until Wade bounced off of Duncan into him forcing the post up. Just did not look like RJ was thinking post up. Anyway, I did finally see it though. Just my observation.

why not using Y button to post up, LB for alley-ups(it shouldn´t be in the front buttons) and using d-pad left(actually with no use) for callplay menus.......

Live didn't have these last year either. All they had was the lock on, but your players would get in the D stance automatically. It's the same in Live 10 with out the lock on.

Sorry to tell ya, but there was a post up button in live last year.. you either held the right analog or left one (cant remember which one).. and yeah the lock on is what im talking about..
