    what post game !!!

there is a post up animation but no depth or cleverness to it...
which is shocking since the game has depth in other scoring areas, yeah lets see what the tutorial says...

luckly i am not too big on the post game when i use bigs or i'd be really disappointed..

When you can't get a successful spin off, it feels like the defender is not stopping the spin as much as he is pinned to your backside like a tail. He spins with with you almost like a merry go round

Im surprised noone said anything about the up and under the CPU does. Its cheesy, it looks fake and cant be defended becuase youre caught in a canned oh shoot kinda animation where you cant even move your man out of the way.

This isnt a comparison thread or one to bash but its pretty poor.

Its basic and feels random. I dont like having the post up button on the right stick button. There have been too many occasions were my players are moving backwards when i did not intend for them to be in post up mode.

I like having a post up button but would rather it not be on the right stick were the game is most active with dribbling.

... in essence you're just playing a perimeter basketball game

That's not balance at all man. Big men have a significant role in the game

Here you have little to no desire to try to take it down low for much because its generic and basic and some of it is canned.

              ??

post patch it is on the stick...but this is the killer part.

Why did they remove the sig shots from the post?

Actually yes, through proper play calling and Off-Ball control you can pretty much duplicate the style of playing your bigs out on the perimeter. The caveat is you will probably not get very many O-Rebounds, or second chance opportunities.

Play against Toronto and see how the CPU uses Bargianni & Turkoglu, Most of the sets they run are designed to isolate Bosh in the low Block. You have to respect the perimeter game of both of those players. Not to mention, turk can take you off the dribble as well. Definately a tough cover, he was giving me fits because he would pull up mid-range befeore the Help-D could get to him, and if the help-d was late in arriving he can finish at the rim.

To me Toronto is the most fun team to play against due to the sets they run and their personnel. Most likely, a couple months in to the season EA will have the DNA more accurate and fine-tuned and we will be able to see all the nuances in Team styles.

I don't mind the controls but the results/moves are way too universal. No doubt it needs a big improvement if it wants to match the perimeter (dribble/mid-range Js, etc) game in L10.

Not saying all of it looks like that but come on man... and Bosh is more of a face up player anyhow.

How many drop step videos have you seen? How many post videos at all from the guys here?

I really hate using it because many of the animations look bad and there's no distinction between a scrub and superstar as far as what moves they can do.

Not really. If you try that with Andries Biedrens, he's not going to do the post turn nearly as easliy, and he is much more likely to throw up slop when trying to do an up and under.

I'm not sure what the complaint is.

Is the complaint that you dont have a lot of post moves at your disposable? If that's the case, then I disagree.

If you want more signature style in the post, then yeah, I can see that.

You're the only one here that likes the post game sir. It is generic at best.

That same spink dunk you just did, I can do that with NeNe.Timmy has lots of post moves and im not talking about getting to the rim and dunking, and they arent in this game.

Again, how many drop steps are there? I think I saw an indication that its there but I havent seen anyone do it

Truth of the matter is, its not on par with the perimeter game
