Patch 2?

Does anyone know when Patch 2 is due?

And is it simply to fix the "glitches" in patch 1 (goaltending + O/T)

Or will it be adding a lot of gameplay fixes?

I asked this a while ago, with no response from the devs. Someone did mention though that it would only be to correct glitches from the 1st patch.

That would be cool if there were some extra gameplay fixes though

Yeah...how about returning the spacing and reception logic to the way it was before the patch? I can't get my shooters to stay in their damn spots anymore, really frustrating.

How about adding a shot contest % for off the dribble shots? This is the one issue that badly needs to be addressed and will save the game online.

It would be nice to hear from a dev on this. Not to mention the manual roster update and some decent DNA. I mean I've been waiting on ALL 3 OF THESE THINGS for quite some time to start a dynasty. And as far as I know they have done NOTHING to fix the wacked out dynasty stats(mpg,ppg,fouls). I mean come on we have Bradon Jennings dropping 55, Dejuan Blair and Tyreke Evans playing significant minutes for their respective teams and they probably still rated 60 something! Seriously... I'm gonna turn on my NBA live game tonight after I watch the Spurs beat down the Mvs again and I want a good basketball experience. Maybe I'll just sell Live 10 used and get Assasins Creed II or something, all I play is EA games. Ok rant over.

Patch 1 had a tonne of publicity and developers all over the gaming sites pushing it + huge lists of what would be fixed etc.

Patch 2.........silence.

Just a "yes, there will be one" after a lot of negative feedback for patch 1 and bugs.

Even that "yes" was weeks ago.

A simple list as to what patch 2 actually fixes would be nice

At this point I believe (note that "I".....I have no "insider" information. This is just be thinking out loud). The 2nd patch (if there is one) will only correct what the 1st patch messed up.........which wouldn't be a bad thing really.

I hope it does more than that...

I finally got owned in NBA Live online in a way that made me say, "I can't take this seriously anymore." Unless they fix whatever it is that makes it so that Mo Williams, Steve Nash, Eddie House, Jameer Nelson, Mike Bibby.... etc etc can make 15 threes no matter what (and even if you jump half the time they'll foul them), I refuse to waste any more time on this game.

I hope that will be addressed in the patch because it's spread like wildfire. Everyone I've played lately who was ranked has done it. And I just lost by 30 to someone today... lol.

I may be wrong, but I believe it was said by one of the developers that there would be another patch addressing issues the first one created. As far as "guaranteeing" goes.....I'd believe that if a developer said it was coming, it probably is.

On a side note: NOT cool that the developers are suddenly MIA around here, now that the game has come out and their hype is over. I know they have priorities and are likely already working on next years title and are short staffed now....blah blah blah... But dropping in now and again to give some updates and addressing some of the valid complaints, wouldn't kill them...It's little things like that, that keep casual fans like me, happy.
