Completely off topic but....

Yay! CV with the Live at the Gorge Cover! Saw PJ last week in Melbourne. They were awesome as always. Ed did a cover of Neil Young's 'needle and the damage done'. Very nice.

Damm...I love that song!!!!! I've seen Pearl Jam a few times now and never seen them cover that. I've seen them cover a few Neil Young songs (Rocking in the free world etc)...but never 'Needle'.

I love me some NCAA Football 10.......

It only takes a few simple tweaks and presto the game play is addicting and fun.

I tried like hell to love Live 10. But everything is out of whack right now. I'm hoping by January they should have everything smoothed out. You'll play 1 qtr and start feeling good about the game and then the next qtr it's like the players forgot how to play basketball or something.

They start doing WTF things like launching shots that you know damn well would get a scrub player benched on the next time out. But that is what Live 10 is right now a MVP Player 1 qtr and a scrub the next qtr.

I call it the Josh Howard syndrome show up for one half and then dissapear the rest of the game..........

i 1,000,00 % agree with you on this, i just can't seem to get a quality FULL game out of live10. "On paper" LIVE looked great and looked to be a step in the right direction(as usual) i'm really getting over the whole "LIVE has potential and is only a year away from being great" speech.. It just seems like we have a Kwame Brown on our hands here,all the potential in the world but how long must we wait for that to become reality

Yeah it was a nice surprise. He stressed that it was an "attempt" to cover the song but he did a very good job of it. I'm sure it'll turn up on you tube somewhere.

Unfortunately I missed him singing Bowie/Queen's 'Underpressure' with Ben Harper during the opening act. Got there late, circumstances out of my control.

Thats harsh man and i've known you a long time. This is my thoughts on Live 10, The game is the starting blocks for this lot of developers I say it will take 2 more years to see what they are trying to achieve in a better light. So far they are just laying down the foundation and waiting for it to dry before starting the fun stuff and seeing it stand tall like a high rise. It doesn't help that they have had to start from scratch from previous mistakes with Live 07 and also jump into building a next gen engine. I know alot of people are sick of waiting for that day to see the game be on top again but it will happen.
