I know the patch has been submitted...so you should be able to list what it does?
The first patch had a lot of info...this one has none at all.

I don't want to sound rude man...but "I'm here" doesn't really help much.
Kind of like going to a resteraunt and your food's an hour late...but they say "don't worry, the chefs in there reading his paper".
One small line..."the patch fixes............." would probably be more useful.
I don't know if you've noticed, but there's a lot of fellas here who'd probably like to know if it fixes the haywire DNA, the 3 point shots that are unstoppable, the O/T glitch, the goaltending bug.
Again, I don't know if you've noticed...but you're kind of taking a hit at the moment.
Then again, I've been in your shoes and been in charge when a company has laid people off left, right and center...as EA has done the past few weeks.
So, for all I know, you're sitting there saying "I don't give a.........." anymore. Stuff how much people are pissed off...it wasn't me who cut staff back. Who knows.

Hi all,
Have you heard of many problems after installing the patch?Some people posted "freezing" problems while playing offline,do you know if that s def connected with the patch?
And also,you get teh patch through EA locker,right?Sorry but i m new to this..

Ok bro...I'm not even one of the guys that are really pressing for the second patch but I have to admit your response was severly lame. You probably would have been better off not posting anything. That response doesn't give a good impression. Not dogging you or anything but that was not a good move.Comment

Just my sense of humor... you guys have very high levels of expectation for a constant dev presence and answers to everything. I can't be here all the time and answer everything. Please remember that.

The downside is that it seems that the patch at a minimum is at least over a month away at best. That's just bad imo. You guys just continually hype all these features to get us to buy your product and only for us to find out that it's broken and on top of that expect us to not get upset because we have to wait anywhere from several weeks to several months for it to "MAYBE" work as advertised when the so-called fix comes out. EA is terrible for this.

I would like to chime in my two cents..also.
To the developers...you guys should understand that we as consumers are not idiots !! and we may not be able to always verbalize what we are trying to say as it relates to specific problems or bugs that we see in the games we buy from you all...
Having said that..it would be different if you all from time to time told us what it is that you guys are working on to fix and correct and atleast acknowledge that you are aware of legitimate bugs and errors concerning your product. See the problem I have personally is when I give you my hard earned money...I expect a product that is working. Because nothing was wrong with my money when you guys got that! If you guys were really trying to be stand up you would offer to let us take our games back for a refund since what you promised to us is not what we got out the box and let us decide after you fix your product if we want to try to re-purchase it again...that would be excellent customer service interaction with your customers.
Although I understand that you can't answer every last question, when there is truly a issue or problem that is causing a great stir on these boards, response from the developers and not the moderators would carry more respect since you are the guys making the games..(common sense to me...)
I know EA has this pride issue or ego trip one, that you either like the game or not, but you guys should reconsider how you treat your "loyal" paying customers...because you guys have given us three straight years of bad merchandise and we deserve alittle more consideration than what has been given atleast in my eyes so far.
I like this years game alot for (ps3) but I feel as a consumer very slighted that I cant enjoy my purchase from you guys because of the malfunctions that exist in your product, and then to have to wait as long as we do for the problem to be rectified is insulting.
Heck all we did is buy your game, we had no idea it would not work as advertized...give us a break EA...you have what you guys wanted, now give us what we paid for !!!! (let's see if they have the balls to respond to this...!!!)JambroComment

If EA is not answering your questions despite being constantly on OS, there's a reason for it. There's probably certain limits on what they can answer. If you're expecting them to tell you everything they know, you're being unrealistic.Last edited by EWRMETS; 11-19-2009, 02:01 PM.Comment
