NYkia doesn't even know what he wants half the time. He's always complaining and crying about something, so yes, he's fickle. My boys Djwlfpack and Phobia aren't fickle to that level, but they can both love something one day and then be lukewarm to it the next. This thread is evidence of that.

If I'm about to trade a game in I'm not gonna make a thread specifically to say how much I don't like it anymore and why I'm done with it. I just get rid of it and that's the end of my experience. People are free to talk about whatever they want around here, I just found it funny, personally. If you took offense to that, I don't know what to tell you.

I honestly love LIVE. I play it 3 to 4 times a week at the least. But after that much playing it and then messing with 2k10 you can see the short comings of LIVE. It is a excellent online b-ball game. But it is not without its faults.

With that said, I am not lukewarm about LIVE. I dig the game. But I also see what needs to be improved on.

Its not describing me and I wasnt taking it personal. Im a mod, and I'd rather the thread continue to be a discussion rather than someone coming in and taking shots directly or indirectly at other posters then running off.

I dont care for starting threads either saying im done with a game or whatever, but its become apparent that the lack thereof that this game has had this entire gen has worn thin on mostly everyone.

That said if it bothers you ignore those guys or block their names from your list of posters but noone has to start taking shots and going off the topic for no reason.

Agreed. I picked up 2K today but still kept Live. I love basketball and Live is just too much fun to play against another person (either online or at a buddy's house) for me to completely squash it. Plus, I have a feeling I'll get into Dynamic Season more once the playoffs roll around.

Pappy knows me well, we go way back to APF 2K8 online leagues. He's right on when he says I go from loving a game to hating it the next day. Heck, look at my swings of emotion with Live 10. I've written a couple of blogs and threads about it. But, I've also made sure to say how much I enjoy certain aspects of the game.

With 2K now in my rotation, I feel like I've got the best of both worlds. If I just want to pick up and play a game, I'll go with Live. If I want to run a Franchise/Association, I'm going to go with 2K. I'm really impressed with the presentation of that game and the commentary is on point.

23, sounds good man. i am definately going to incorporate these ides into my edits.

i went in another direction got my break working got stars to shine while role players pass it more.

i put the shot alter slider to 0, getting straight layups but still get WAYYYY too many contact shots...

i am looking at some extreme cases because i noticed when i put some guys mid liklyhood to about 25-40 they actually pump faked, i personally cant say i have seen that before the edits more than 2 times

i already give up on out the box live 4 months ago, edited live can be way better if you have the patience

Its taking a long time but im doing like 2 teams a day. I think it takes about 30 minutes to do a team. I left some ratings alone like clutch, ft's,stamina (although this one might help) simply because they wont alter anything gameplay wise unless you just want to be extreme.

There is alot for me to explain the thinking about it so you know exactly whats going on

What I also forgot is each player also has DNA ratings which I have no touched yet, stuff like inside, outside, athleticism, teamwork, etc...

That said, this is still in a testing stage, and you're going to have to adjust your sliders.

What I've done is basically left the CPU's sliders at default and raised the users up to about 70-75%.

Why you say? Well because you need it to make up for the garbage programmed into the game because it is so NOT balanced at all. The cpu does stuff you cant do, etc... Trust me it works too, but start at about 70% and adjust to your liking from there.

I did the Heat and Spurs last night. The CPU starts off playing normal ball and ramps up the intensity in the 2nd half.

I've never gotten a game with double digit fastbreak points til now. Double digit ft attempts or equal to or more than the CPU til now

carnal....Havent seen any pumpfakes but I have seen the cpu pass the ball around at times which is a shocker.

Anyway, im going to add the Jazz and Suns today, and stick that all up but right now I have a roster up in the EA locker.

Remember im still going to tweak it but its for you guys to try out and test, but as I said, you're going to have to adjust all of your sliders or else the CPU is going to eat you up, and not because you suck.

Its nice to adjust the game to give each team their Big 3 or Big 4 where those are the guys who dominates the offense as it should be.

Yep im on All Star

I just shot 60% against PHX, and they shot 40% and they still won

They took more shots than me and got more FT's and less turnovers...lol

I just added PHX, San Antonio, Utah, Miami to the mix so play a few with adjusted sliders like I was explaining above.

BTW, make sure when you start a game with a team that had a player who was recently injured to change it in the starting lineup screen

ALA Miami since Wade was out for a few games.. disable injured players for that game.

I got rid of mine too. Clippers messed up my dynamic season at the trade deadline. I think I'd trade my in-game season for having Lebron in the real one next year.

I thought about keeping it anyway with this turn in direction that may be coming,I still think it'll be totally getting rid of Live and replacing it with Street but I'm good with PES and 2K baseball for now.

I just finished my first season in dynasty mode. I started in mid october, played all 82 games plus the playoffs and finals with 8 min quarters. The thing that really grinds my gears is the effin lame 5 second championship celebration. I mean wtf is up with all these sports games with little or no good endings. I had to listen to the same commentary and watch the same animations over and over with very scripted and predictable gameplay for 6 months so the least they should have done was have a good ending about 2 to 3 mins long especially since i didnt have a choice but to play 82 freakin games. I have 2k10 as well but i really enjoyed the control with dribbling and shooting live had this year so i played it the most. I really hope next year next year we'll get a complete game with a post game, commentary and animations that can feel fresh till live 12.
