Man I can only assume that the posters here that view this as a 'everybody is against Live" thing are new to the site, because if you've been here two years at the least you know the same guys upset with the games direction now are the SAME guys that were in here singing Live 10s praises...Comment

Re: Its time, no more hiding
What exactly is there to believe?
Does 23 get a cookie if he can force EA to "admit" that the game will be bad or delayed. Or is it purely the love and adoration of other entitled gamers that he seeks. Because the confusion is that I have no idea what he wants, other than to "call out" EA like they are responsible for home mortgage crisis and Hurricane Isaac.
What if EA never releases another basketball game ever. Are the On Notice until they send 23 a personal letter explaining themselves?
And then what. Is he going to go around telling everybody that EA admitted they were big meanie pants? Could he go ahead and get me info on the next EA baseball game, because they haven't let me know about that, either?Comment

I have yet to see you come in here and comment on the game at all
You're just another new guy on here coming in to make personal posts without commenting on the game.. so what im smelling is another agenda and I wont deal with it much longer
So lets have it, give your take on the game, and what has actually been released or quit complaining about other peoples opinions.Comment

Looks like some people here don't notice that a lot of us on this site are fed up with the crap that EA doing.
And I definitely agree with you 24th, unless they've been under a cave, and didn't see the jesus video, and the way EA put themselves under a bus, they definitely wouldn't be "defending" EA or whatever it is that they're doing

You need to do some research on what 23 might actually know before you publicly insult him and call him out on his relationship with EA.
As for EA basketball being bad, anyone who saw that video, played basketball, is a die hard fan of basketball, cannot realistically say that EA is going to release a good product. That was downright atrocious in every sense of the word.Comment

Re: Its time, no more hiding
I dont see the big deal with that jesus video...so what they could have fixed it. It's a demo. Every game is bugged. Look at Skyrim.
The problem here is that people think they are entitled because they have been posting here for years... Sorry, EA could care less about you too.
And to stay on subject with the title of this thread. I hope we get videos too!Comment

As for the jesus thing, I pretty much have no comment. There's no way they could fix that. They wouldn't have put the time into re-creating it to find out the problem behind it.Comment

You're really comparin Skyrim to an unreleased piece of garbage?

Nobody feels entitled and aren't claiming it... We also aren't blind homers either

Re: Its time, no more hiding
I thought the video looked like a bland boring game that is far, far behind where 2K is right now.
I don't think the first version the new Live is going to be worth buying, but it is worth checking out to see if they have anything yet.
It's not brain surgery. It's freaking common sense. When EA wants to sell me a game, they will show me something I like.
-The NHL series has shown me a ton thatI love. I loved 2K hockey, but it dropped off.
-I used to like NBA Live, but 2K has owned that sport for awhile now.
-Madden hasn't shown me squat worth investing in.
-NCAA Football has shown me a competent game.
-PES looks a lot better than FIFA right now.
-Fight Night has been hit or miss, and I still think FN3 has been my favorite so far.
-The NFS Shift series is the exact balance of arcade and sim I like, even though Forza blows it away in principle. Maybe Forza Horizon replaces Shift 2 in my library.
I love MLB 2K12, but I'd like to see what EA has in store for return of MVP. 2K is ut of the game, so hopefully EA will come in with a good game, but probably not until the next gen. Bummer.
I love the direction Peter Moore has taken EA Sports in, but he has far from a Midas touch. So it's worth checking in to see how Live is progressing. What I saw was not very good. I probably should have just moved on, but I found this thread compelling to read for it sheer lack of perspective.
I don't hate or love EA. They are big publisher of sports games, so they are worth following. But I'll buy whatever game will keep me entertained. I have a hard time taking EA's failure to deliver a good pro football or basketball game personal.Comment
