I thought the Jesus video was a perfect example for how screwed up their game was. When it slipped another year, I pretty much assumed they were going to come out with a bland boing game at best, or bug ridden mess at worst.

I thought the video looked like a bland boring game that is far, far behind where 2K is right now.

I don't think the first version the new Live is going to be worth buying, but it is worth checking out to see if they have anything yet.

It's not brain surgery. It's freaking common sense. When EA wants to sell me a game, they will show me something I like.

-The NHL series has shown me a ton thatI love. I loved 2K hockey, but it dropped off.

-I used to like NBA Live, but 2K has owned that sport for awhile now.

-Madden hasn't shown me squat worth investing in.

-NCAA Football has shown me a competent game.

-PES looks a lot better than FIFA right now.

-Fight Night has been hit or miss, and I still think FN3 has been my favorite so far.

-The NFS Shift series is the exact balance of arcade and sim I like, even though Forza blows it away in principle. Maybe Forza Horizon replaces Shift 2 in my library.

I love MLB 2K12, but I'd like to see what EA has in store for return of MVP. 2K is ut of the game, so hopefully EA will come in with a good game, but probably not until the next gen. Bummer.

I love the direction Peter Moore has taken EA Sports in, but he has far from a Midas touch. So it's worth checking in to see how Live is progressing. What I saw was not very good. I probably should have just moved on, but I found this thread compelling to read for it sheer lack of perspective.

I don't hate or love EA. They are big publisher of sports games, so they are worth following. But I'll buy whatever game will keep me entertained. I have a hard time taking EA's failure to deliver a good pro football or basketball game personal.

I can appreciate this post a great deal, but the 2nd to last I dont agree with simply because you've missed alot in between "this thread" and all of the other posts thats been going on since E3.

You are assuming I missed it. The reality is that nothing has really been worth commenting on. That's pretty much still the case.

So telling me that you've been raging at the machine longer than I've been around is kind of proving my point.

I was drawn to this thread by the silly nature of its title. I was trying to figure out how EA was hiding, and why people so disappointed with what they have seen so far are so anxious to hear more marketing spin about the game.

Because all pre-release info is pure marketing. For all games, from all publishers. Even if they show something good, you can't trust it until you either get your hands on it, or someone you trust posts their hands-on impressions.

And I never worry about being lied to when it comes to marketing spin. That should be assumed.

I don't visit basketball threads very often. It's not as high on my play list of games. But I came to this thread section of OS to see what was being said. The title of this thread drew me in.

If you are saying that your temper tantrums have drained this sub-forum of all decent conversation, then you have a point.

You have a serious inferiority complex. No agenda here. Just an interested sports gamer that realized this area of OS is being patrolled by a jack wagon.

Since this topic is way on tangent and 23 is getting all the talk here can you just inform us your history with live/EA and what your agenda is?

I think it's pretty clear that 23 doesn't hate EA or something like that. He...like most of us is tired of being disrespected and lied to by EA. They don't care about us at all, didn't gave us any sort of info on the game, the only thing that came out was a leaked footage from someone. Just my two cents. They haven't said anything, anything at all. Hell i spammed the crap outta them on twitter & on facebook and nothing came out of their mouths. Imagine how fans like me and other members around here feel with this kinda thing going on from such a huge company like EA.

I dont see the big deal with that jesus video...so what they could have fixed it. It's a demo. Every game is bugged. Look at Skyrim.

The problem here is that people think they are entitled because they have been posting here for years... Sorry, EA could care less about you too.

And to stay on subject with the title of this thread. I hope we get videos too!

If the Live team really wanted to make a push, I believe their best way to go would be an open beta. Why release a terrible game and get more of a bad reputation. Release a public beta and actually hear us out. Let us help. I guarantee if that plan worked, and EA released a game with ideas from the community, some of us would change how we feel. In reality, it's not happening, not a chance it's happening.

I don't think it's officially confirmed yet. BUT three years of working on it and we get this........ Pathetic EA just pathetic. Please if college basketball were to get the same treatment Live just did.....PLEASE DON'T bring it back!
