Producer told me that the Pro Hop was intentionally easy last year. Why add a new feature to the game and make it super hard to use? They were afraid that gamers would try Pro Hop and eventually give up on it after so many unsuccessful attempts, which makes sense IMO. They made Pro Hop alot harder this year, and it was something I noticed during gameplay. I obviously tried using it so I can get a dunk, but the AI closed in on me.

They also added a Pro Hop slider this year.

Thanks for answering my first batch of questions.

My only remaining question is the post game. In advertisements, it talks about people banging and clawing and scratching for position. Did you feel the post game to be as advertised or was it similiar to last year's game? It seemed as if many of us complained that it was too easy to back defenders down. In your game with the Nuggets and Heat, did Shaq clear out defenders better than Camby or Martin?

Ahhhh, I didn't notice a great post game, so maybe that was a little over hyped. I felt it was pretty close to last years version. Shaq was easily able to back down defenders in the paint. Was it too easy....maybe, but he's Shaq. In the game I played against Detroit, Rasheed was getting it in the post here and there and he wasn't dominating me down low. At times he was shooting over me or kicking it out. Nothing jaw dropping really.

They did say there was still some work to do in the post game, but I don't know how much more they can add to the game at this point.

After you playing Live '05, is the overall feel of the game better than last year's game in terms of gameplay or is it just a small upgrade?

The game felt alot like last years. Whether thats a good thing or not is up to you to decide, but it did feel similar to last years. It played a good game and alot, if not all of the gameplay problems were taken care of.
