Couldnt get much more casual. They put nothing into Franchise Mode. It was all to the Arcade modes.

I predict that's probably it for Live as we know it on this gen of consoles. They'll probably announce a new Target date of February then finally announce it's permanently delayed. In the meantime they will probably continue to support 19 in some fashion until the All Star break.

I honestly think Live 20 isn’t going to be released because they said the exact same thing about Live 13 and they out right canceled it to focus on the launch of Live 14 on PS4 and XBOX One. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do the same thing to focus on Live 21 for PS5 and XBOX Scarlet.

I honestly think Live 20 isn’t going to be released because they said the exact same thing about Live 13 and they out right canceled it to focus on the launch of Live 14 on PS4 and XBOX One. I wouldn’t be surprised if they do the same thing to focus on Live 21 for PS5 and XBOX Scarlet.

That might be good has it would give them a lot of time to work on just live 21 for ps5 and xbox scarlet but at the same time with live sales having not been that good skipping another year may be to much to over come any type of momentum they have tried to bulid the last few years.

If EA releases an update with rookies on 19, you might as well kiss 20 goodbye. I wonder if different approach could mean EA dropping the NBA license all together and just focusing on the Live Run/street ball type modes? Most players don't play the NBA portion of the game anyway.

Oh man I hope that is not what happends and I dont buy that most players dont play the nba portion.

No surprise here. Another EA incomplete 3 year cycle. Minimal progress after skipping 17, they came back with Live 18 which was fun but still far behind 2K in all key areas.

On top of that, EA Sports keeps on removing features from the game rather than adding them on from the start and creating a competitive game. Their gameplay isn’t bad but just needs regular tweaks to become great.

I’m sure they will launch a full scale Live attack again on next gen with the same song and dance. Best of Luck Live! #Salute

Been playing live 19 with ea access and the things i am noticing with it that need to be improved going foward are to many blocks, cpu plays starters to many minutes, cpu dosnt take enough 3 pointers. Those are the 3 things that stand out the most. I am woundering is there a way to improve those things in 19 with settings? Or are all 3 just simple things ea needs to improve going foward that no settings in 19 can improve?

If EA lost the exclusivity for the NFL, NHL, and many of the soccer leagues, what is happening to Live would be the fate of all the EA Sports games. It's time to end the exclusivity deals and allow more than one AAA company to produce sports games. This entire generation of consoles SHOULD be a wake up call to sports gamers. We're getting a subpar product year after year while the EA, 2K, and SDS continue to haul in massive profits from these ******* Ultimate Team modes. We must demand better going into the PS5/XBOX...whatever era.

Glass half full approach is that they are "taking extra time to perfect the game"...

Unfortunately, that just rarely ends up being the case. The new approach statement makes me feel like in one form or another, we're starting from scratch...which means we wont get a refined product building off previous releases.

Only time will tell, but I don't have a great feeling.

Yep. I agree. This current gen of sports games has been subpar. With EA being the biggest disappointment. I was looking forward to Live 20. Guess not.
