Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Maybe it's not worth writing home about, but I just scored my largest victory ever yesterday. I'm not sure if it is by point margin, but I did just beat an 87 OVR team by a final score of 123-71. MOP 15 minute halves FYI.

My shots just kept going in, and they played a fast pace so I just let my bench players ride it out. Maybe the most amazing stat from the game was that, as a team, I had 40 assists.

I probably just blow my shooting touch too early though.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Starting up a new legacy tonight (2012-2013 rosters) and have a few team ideas and I want your guy's input; these are the teams I'm choosing from: VCU (hometown team I love them), UNLV (Katin Reinhardt is one of my favorite players), Ole Miss (I love Marshall Henderson), and Ohio St. (Aaron Craft is my idol lol.). So what do you guys think? My legacy will be 15 min all conference sliders (from the forum) and I will be posting a write up after each and every game and giving information about the conference, recruits, etc. So let me know guys!

Started a new franchise at Saint Francis (PA) because they have a 73 overall FR PF that i'm going to move to center. I'm also putting some real recruits into the game, although I have no chance to get them. 5 seniors this year, than 5 juniors (they are seniors irl though) so they become seniors next years. The seniors are Jabari Parker, Aaron Gordon, James Young, Dakari Johnson & Marcus Lee, and the juniors are going to be Andrew Wiggins, Julius Randle, Andrew Harrison, Aaron Harrison & Noah Vonleh.
It's going to be interesting to see where they end up and how they do.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Just got the game a couple days ago (last had a copy in 09 I think). Anyway, started a legacy with LIU.

First game was against UMASS and I got whooped 78-49 (mind you, I haven't played in years).

A few games later I played FDU and dropped 37 with my starting PF (including 5 3s, and 9 boards).

I also had the ball with the game tied and 8 seconds left, gave it to the man with the hot hand and hit a fadeaway J in the lane at the buzzer for the win!

Right now I'm 4-7 and having a lot of fun, but a lot of trouble recruiting.

I have had no success in the tourney. I have been able to recruit very good players in comparison to what i face in my conference leading to these bloated records. I have little to no success in the non conference schedule, i win sometimes, but mostly schedule HBCU's outside the preseason tournaments to get a decent record heading in to conf play. But i dont recommend this as a building process. As you can see ive done next to nothing when it counts. I slacked on recruitng 1 season and you can see what happened without me pointing it out. It does appaer that i have build a solid enuf team to compete finaly but it took 6 seasons to get here. Hopefuly this works out. FYI, both my conf losses came to rival JU in the conf. The team im waiting out to hopefuly take over, my home school. Unfortunately they seem to finish 2nd or 3rd every year with 20+ wins, so im still hoping

So i played the "3rd" rd against 6 seed Duke(20-12) and played my best game ever! 39-30 halftime lead turned into an 82-56 win! Ive never beat a big name opponent like that! Hell, ive hardly ever beat any power conf teams! Im just so happy, this is the first legit team ive had! I play year to year so this has taken a long time and feels very satisfying! I play 7 seed Kentucky(23-11) in the sweet 16. To add, my team is very long. Its seems to help against the big boy teams as of this season as i havent been out rebounded all year. Its so weird seeing North Florida looking down on teams like Duke, Florida, etc..
Bye Coach Bell....bye new stadium....bye scholarships....bye dreams of FBS status....and now bye football program, RIP

                    39-0. National Champions.

I just pounded #2 seed Minnesota by 20+ points to capture back-to-back titles, complete with the first undefeated season in 48 years (since 1975-76 Indiana).

For starters, I messed up and actually made Noah Vonleh a senior instead of a junior, so there are only 4 juniors that I made this year, and 6 real guys that committed.
Michigan got both Jabari Parker and James Young, Aaron Gordon went to Stanford, Marcus Lee went to Santa Clara and Dakari Johnson went to Hofstra.

Andrew Wiggins is the #1 overall recruit this year, Andrew Harrison & Aaron Harrison follow him at 2 & 3, and Julius Randle is the #5 overall recruit in the country.
Wiggins it looks like is down to either Wisconsin or Florida, and the Harrison twins both have Memphis as their first school. Randle has Wisconsin, Florida & Kansas neck and neck so it is going to be interesting to see how they shape up.

Duke came in and stole Andrew Wiggins, landing him and the #4 recruit (a cpu generated guy), while Memphis got Aaron Harrison and Florida got Julius Randle and Andrew Harrison!

The biggest issue I have seen I guess is I made a couple worse than they should be. Marcus Lee came in as a 3 star, and so did Noah Vonleh. It's nice though to see them in the game.

I am considering starting a dynasty thread for it, but I had a question: How do you go about making tables on here? I'm not very computer savvy so I need all the help I can get.
So, I ended up only winning 9 games that season, but by some miracle we ran the table in the A-Sun Tourney and made the NCAA tournament, winning by 20 in the Play In Game against American before being killed by Michigan State. My second season was, in a word, horrible. I had a tough time recruiting and ended up paying for it as I lost my two best players and only won 6 games. I'm currently in my third season, had a decent recruiting class (brought in a 3* C in Ryan Rickert and two 2* SGs in Winston Hardy and Norris McLaren) and we have gone 13-15 on the season, but 10-6 in conference (decided to switch up my strategy by slowing our play down mid-season and that led to better results) earning a 2 seed in the A-Sun Tourney.
