Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
I sim most of my games. I like to play against top teams and in the tourney though.
I just finished my second year at Clemson, the first year was awful like expected and I only had one scholarship so I thought I was screwed. I was dead wrong though, I picked up this 4 star recruit from Texas no one had offered, and he was a ****ing stud.
He was a PF, but played SF most of the year since he was undersized and my best player is/was a PF. He averaged 29.1 points a game, 7.8 rebounds, 1 assist and 2.2 steals! Absolutely awesome, for a guy that only has a 74 overall. I lost in the second round of the tourney to the #2 seed Auburn (I was a 7 seed) who shut him down to only 10 points. 28-8 isn't bad though considering this still isn't my team and I have an awesome recruiting class coming in next year.
He won player of the year too when I simmed past the tourneyComment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
I like playing every game. I only sim when I'm getting blown out or vice versa. To me its fun watching guys get better, even guys on other teams that I play every year. Its fun to play against guys I was recruiting! Playing old assistant coaches, the whole experience.Rather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Yea, 12-0 to start the year and pretty much blowing out every team late. I'm ranked #4 and will play #14 Marquette, if this game is an easy game as well, I'm planning on raising the difficulty.
Edit: Beat Marquette by 17, upping the difficulty now.Last edited by Kobalt; 03-15-2013, 11:47 PM.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
For some reason I can't sign any 5 star recruits even if I recruit them in their junior season with A+ charisma
At first I though it was because I didn't have tradition, but even at UCLA in an open legacy I cant sign any and I don't know why.
Any tips for recruiting?Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
Just finished my regular season, first here at Wichita St. We finished with a 28-1 (17-1) record. I know I need to up the difficulty, does anyone know a good AC or AA set? I have switched back and forth with them; too much of a wimp to try MOP.Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
For all you guys playing on AC or AA, I was in your shoes until I won 4 straight NC with Howard University! I bumped it up to MOP because this game is too much fun to get bored with it because of ALWAYS winning on easy difficulties. Im using Cincyfans sliders on MOP and I'm having a blast! I'm winning games I should win and losing games I should lose, with a mix of upsets here and there! Im in year 3 of my LIU closed legacy and 1st yr we lost 2nd round of conference tourney, last year we won the conference tourney but got BLOWN out by Virginia in the NCAA tourney and this year we're set to to repeat as conference champs (hopefully!) I actually am worried about defending my title and not already knowing we're gonna win it every year.
I dont know maybe its just me but I like losing when I'm supposed to, that way when I finally do win a NC it means more. Just my humble opinion thoughRather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..Comment

Moved to Michigan State after 4 years at Clemson culminating in a loss in the national title game. Tom Izzo retired, and although their team isn't great I think I can recruit even better in Michigan as compared to South Carolina.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

I would have felt compelled to win a NC before I left Clemson, especially if I got to the finals and lost. You probably can recruit better at Michigan State thoughRather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
I left both Murray State and Clemson after losing in the national title game, but one of the biggest reasons I left was because most of my lineup (I play 10 normally) left and I fizzled in recruiting that year, only picking up a good PG and nothing else. I didn't want to go through a bad year so I went to MSU.Cincinnati Reds University of Kentucky Cincinnati Bengals

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
We're undefeated as we head into conference play. The only decent team we beat was Providence though, so no big deal there (however I'd love to get the chance to coach there!).
The team is really coming together! I've found my 3pt specialist so the defense can't run a 2-3 all game! Thats how we beat Providence, they refused to leave the 2-3. We have a small chance to go undefeated but it won't mean much if we dont do anything in the conference tourneyRather than complain about life, take responsibility and do something about it..Comment

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!
So way earlier in the thread (Page 153) I talked about how I was moving from Texas State, after I upset #1 Maryland in the tournament, to George Mason, who were 12-17. Let's say this season's been better but disappointing.
Our only way to get into the tournament is to win the tournament. There is no other way we can make it. Too many bad losses to teams like Towson and James Madison, who only combine for 13 wins. It's tough, but I mean 14-11 is better than 12-17.
In the conference tournament (we have 3 games left) I don't think we have a chance. Hofstra and UNC Wilmington (competing for the 4th seeds in the NCAA tournament) are there. They've destroyed us. It'll take a miracle run to make it into the tourney.Comment
