It is any player that graduated (excluding the players that you start with in the default 2007-2008 roster). So it would be anyone I coached that I recruited or that I inherited at my new job (Louisville) who graduated. If you notice the stats are only for the years I coached them. Also for the players still at Charleston Southern, I put only their stats for the years I coached them and what year they graduated from there.

The NBA logo next to their name, indicated that they were drafted. One thing I don't like about this game is that I had players I left and recruited at Charleston Southern that were drafted and I don't get to count them as pro draftees, only players that leave when you are the current coach of the team.

Any other feedback out there from anyone on this? Lots of great memories and I am in the conference tournament at my second season at Louisville as we speak so I will hopefully have another update soon.

        Thanks for looking!

About to play Santa Clara for the second time and hopefully win the regular title with Portland in my second year with the team. Two more games left in the 2014 season.

After 3 years at Bethune Cookman and 3 years at FIU, I just accepted the Miami coaching job.

When you release underclass men that are on scholarship, do you get those scholarship back?

Unfortunately not, you will get them the next season.

With 3 straight top 25 wins, I got to thinking about this game. About to jump into a dynasty with Clemson.

In my dynasty i took Old dominion and turned them into a national title contender year in and year out. unfortunately i made a late night mistake and saved over that file one night and now have to start from the beginning again. however i did see something truly amazing during the tournament one year. i saw UNC Wilmington face UNC Greensboro in the round of 64. UNC Wilmington won and advanced to face UNC Charlotte in the round of 32. Next UNC Charlotte advanced and faced UNC in the sweet 16. In addition to that UNC Asheville made it to the round of 32 in another bracket

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Hey everyone, so bad news. I lost my Louisville and Charleston Southern legacy, accidentally deleted it. So i decided to make a new one, however at this point playing the games just are not as fun to me as they used to be. I wanted to approach this from a different perspective, this legacy will be simulation only. I have played through a lot of seasons, recruiting very hard and trying to find coaches to make up for my areas of deficiency. I am in my either 22nd or 23rd season and I have them all documented in the link below. I started at St. Francis (NY) thought they had a good recruiting base and got them to the tournament after some great patience and luckily not getting fired early on. Then moved on to Western Kentucky, they have a good following and I recruited well, and won 1 national championship with them while I was there. Left there for North Carolina and they were so bad that I really couldn't do much with them. It was almost like Charlotte had taken up the recruiting pipeline for UNC due to their lack of success. I left UNC after getting them somehow to the final 4 as a 10 seed for Iowa State. They are my favorite team, have been for a quite a few years. I inherited a really good team but they didn't fit my style. But in year 2 we went on a huge run from the Big 12 Tournament on and won my second national championship. That is where I am currently. I don't see any reason to leave Iowa State until it forces me to retire.

I really like this way of playing, I feel like I am too god at this game, even with adjusted sliders to make if feel realistic. I actually have more fun with losing realistically here and there, makes you appreciate the good times and feel a sense of accomplishment of building a winning team. I have not played a single game or any part of any of the games. I do watch the games the team plays in the NCAA Tournament if they qualify for it and I do some drill development and adjust training throughout the season to focus in on specific deficiencies of each player.

If you notice my career W-L record and accomplishments are blank, I did that because I want to wait until the end of the career to go in and change that, no sense in constantly changing that every year.

                      hi guys!

I recently got the itch to play a college basketball game so I decided to buy CH 2K8 again, and boy am I glad I did. I forgot how good of a game this is, and how far ahead of their time they were. I decided to run a career legacy and figured why not share my experience. I'm posting here in the dynasty HQ so if you get a chance check it out!

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

I've been doing a legacy with my created team, the Clarendon State Dachshunds. I made a thread for it a while back, but it got a little tedious for me, so I didn't keep up with it for very long. Anyways, I've still been playing it (cpu vs cpu, 18 minute halves) and I've started to have some really good teams. In 2013-14, I went 27-2 and was on the bubble for an at-large bid to the NCAA Tournament (the top independent is only guaranteed a bid to the NIT). Unfortunately, that team lost in the first round of the NIT. The 2016-17 team was also on the bubble, but once again, I had to settle for the NIT. That team made it to the NIT semifinals to end up with a 30-3 record (my first 30-win team). I just completed the regular season for 2017-18 at 25-2, ranked 23rd in the nation, and again, on the bubble. And I got in! We're an 11-seed, playing BYU in the 1st round. I'll let you guys know how that goes tomorrow.

Edit: Close game against BYU. I had a 5 point lead at halftime, but it got away from me in the last two minutes. BYU won 79-69.

I took a 3 point lead into half time over Jacksonville State with Florida A&M. I ended up losing 52-72...... my team went 8 of 34 in the 2nd half. Something like 6-20 from the paint.

0-3 on the year using 2013 rosters for the heck of it.

Some people don't like and you have probably tried, but have you played Coach Mode with sliders? I can't get enough of it. I use VandyRedskins21 sliders after using Jukeman's for the last few years - the stats are sim and somewhat realistic. I love coach mode because it gives me some control, but player performance and results are out of my hands. I love that I can make my team play how I want, right now I'm all defense, so my coaching attributes are 0 for everything except defense is 100 (any given coach i run with I only allow a maximum of 100 in the tendancy area), and usually I split it up but this time I'm all defense.

Right now I'm in my 2nd year in a new dynasty at Norfolk State, and I prioritized recruiting for my coach abilities so I only recruit defensiuve athletes and look for that 1 star player that can do a majority of my scoring.

My team really struggles to score especially when my offensive player is struggling who's a G.

I just had the worst loss I've ever had in any sports game in my Florida A&M legacy. 23-72.... to K-State. My team shot 9% in the 1st half. 0-5 from 3. All the rest was inside the paint.

I'm 0-9 on the year now and have Texas A&M and Baylor left before conference play. I'm using Mojerise's sliders or whatever his name was. They were on the 2kShare before, but now that's down.

^^ Funny you mention that. I've ran into some buzzsaws over the years on my MOP sliders but nothing like this...

I just got my back into my old UConn dynasty, I've got a young team coming off a national championship season. Third game of the season is at Oregon (I'm 7 ovr points better) after a crazy comeback win against lowly Cornell in my second game.

Oregon made their first 17 shots. Not a typo. Made their first seven 3PA. The first shot they missed resulted in a put-back dunk. They shot 21/24 in the first half and I trailed 55-25. Of course this all coincided with lockdown defense on the other end of the floor. I lost 82-48. 34 friggin points. I've lost some games by 20 here and there, I'd say 25 is probably the biggest loss I'd ever had, but this took things to new heights. Those other losses were to loaded teams, never an average team like Oregon.

Out of curiosity, since it'd been so long since I've played 2K8, I backed out of the game just before the final buzzer and replayed the game. I had to know if I had gotten that bad at the game or if my sliders got screwed up. Nope, I won the replay 69-57. The first go-round was that big of a momentum ****.
