However, I just got a big win on Senior Day against a ranked Pepperdine squad 77-59. Sayyaad finished the game with 33 points and 12 rebounds in his final home game.

I'm sitting square on the bubble right now. 17-11 (9-5) with a 50 RPI and a 10-9 record against teams in the top 100 (Saint Mary's just has my number, they were my two bad losses). I need to win at least two games in the conference tourney to feel safe about a tourney bid. Definitely going to be a nerve racking couple of games.
Well, I completely choked down the stretch and lost in the first round of my conference tourney game to Santa Clara...even though I beat them pretty handily in the two games during the regular season. Didn't make the tourney, got stuck playing @ UC Irvine (18-11) in the first round of the NIT.

Played like **** pretty much the whole game and played down to their talent level, and they beat me by a point as my final three-point shot at the buzzer clanked off the rim.

Ended the season 17-13, pretty disappointing to say the least. By far the worst season I've had in this legacy. I've had 20+ win in every season and made the tourny in every season, so to not reach either is something I am definitely not used to.

However, year 7 (3rd year at Gonzaga) looks pretty promising. Signed the #5 recruiting class (One 5 star, two 4 stars, and a 3 star) and I'm returning four starters from last years team. I don't know if that's a good thing or not just yet, we'll see. Rated 87 overall, and talent wise I'm the top team in the WCC, so hopefully the Zags will be back in the tourney this season.

you know the game is good when you get 7 season deep and your team just doesn't perform. Most games by Season 7 its impossible to lose. not on this game.

Yeah I started using a much harder slider set in season 5 and it's been pretty difficult to maintain success to say the least. A set by the user 'mojorises' on 2kshare is definitely the hardest settings I've ever used.

After that I took the Miami Ohio job they had a good 7 foot 300 lb center, and were coming off an 18 win season so I was able to win immediately.

After the 2012 season I was offered the Minnesota and Colorado jobs, but because both teams were god awful I declined. After the last season I was offered the Wisconsin and Duke jobs, but because I don't like either team I declined as well. I'm hoping to get the Illinois job but Bruce Weber somehow has 100% job approval rating despite Illinois not making the tournament in 5 seasons(art imitating life). I have 5 starters returning and bring in a 6'3" 5 star PG, a 6'10" 4 Star PF, a 4 star 6'6" SF, and a 7'1" 3 Star C(who looks to be an athletic freak, but raw). Next years team will be my best, and I need to get back to the 2nd weekend of the tournament. Getting impatient waiting for the Illinois job and since the MAC is pretty awful I might leave after next season.
Started 4-0 beating #24 Northwestern away(who might end up making the tournament for the first time) and Washington home in my first 2 games. Then simmed victories against UIC and @Youngstrown State. Next up is a home game agaisnt Valparaiso. My ranking is all the way up to #4(first time crackin the top 10) after starting the season at #19. I'm #1 in the mid major ranking for the first time. This is my starting 5.

PG Jamal McLaren 5'10" SR 85 OVR
SG Keon Frisby 6'6" SO 81 OVR
SF Wil McCarthy 6'6" SO 83 OVR
PF Rodrigo Siebrandt 6'7" SR 83 OVR
          C Lowell Stockman 7'0" SR 77 OVR

Been using a Princeton playbook, but reccently switched to an all plays one to take advantage of some other plays I've been trying out. Generally use man to man with some 2-3 throw in. Occasionally use a Full Court or 3/4 Court press.

Illinois is 0-5 to start the season, Weber's job security is still about 75%. I'm hoping it drops as the season goes along as that is the job I want. Hard to imagine he could last much longer as the best players on the Illinois roster are all seniors.

The frustrating part is we actually shot 51.7% from the field but Kansas shot 57.7%, including 8/15 from 3.

16 turnovers doomed me. Grrr, I even tried to cheese after falling behind and couldn't even do that lol.

Honestly guys, if you are getting too good at this game and want more of a challenge, I recommend Ehh's sliders and wish you luck. I was coming off of a double digit beat down home win against Colorado (they were 89 ovr vs my 90 ovr) only to get kicked in the teeth at Kansas (they were 91 ovr). I'm 2-6 after switching to these sliders and man I'll tell you it's humbling.

I think those are the ones i use except i tweaked them a bit til i think to lower shooting percentages so i could play 18 minutes halves. Still never made it past sweet 16 with em

I've used these before and they are definitely the toughest I've ever played with. If I ever decide to do a closed legacy where I play and not coach, I would definitely use these again.

Vandy, Florida ended up winning it. Sorry it took me a while to get back with ya. My last season that I started 6-6 I ended up winning 15 straight and going 28-8 overall and made it to elite 8. I got offered the minnesota job but I decided to stay with SIU. I have a young team that's been together and I feel they are going to make a run. I just started the next season and they have already started 4-0 and knocking off 3 ranked teams with Iowa state (4-1) and kentucky (4-1) up next.

So I have a new roster now and started an open legacy with Purdue (I kicked Barlow off before I began the legacy mode). Things have been going alright, but we have one loss to Indiana State (when I was still figuring out how I wanted my team to press). I'm dong this CPU vs. CPU. Our next game is @ Missouri.

Re: How is YOUR Career Legacy going?!?!

Purdue won a VERY close game at Missouri by a final score of I think 68-66. Missouri had a chance at an inside pass that could've led to a game-tying basket, but we batted it away and tossed it up court to steal the win.

After that, we had to invite in the Louisville Cardinals. I had expected Louisville to be a bit better, but they came into this game with a 3-4 record. Knowing how hard the Big East schedule would be for them, a win against them here would be GREAT. We started things off great by building good 10-point leads over them. We actually had a good lead at halftime (an eight or ten point lead). The second half was crazy and we ended up taking the game to OT. In overtime, we traded the lead a few times before it was back at a 68-68 tie. With about 15 seconds left in OT, Louisville brought the ball up the floor, fighting the full-court press we were applying.

Once the made their way over center court, our defense shifted to the 1-3-1 matchup we'd been playing all game long (I forget what other defenses we use lol). With ten seconds left, Louisville looked to try and set up a play for the last second basket. With three seconds left, Louisville dumped the ball inside to their center who attempted to dunk the game winner.....

BUT THE DUNK WAS BLOCKED! The crowd went absolutely insane as the game was headed to a second overtime! Louisville came out aggressive in the second overtime by winning the tip-off, but Purdue would put up the first points. Purdue would continue to score, but Louisville began to catch up. Finally after Purdue commited their 12th team foul, Louisville sunkboth free throws to give Louisville a 79-77 lead. Purdue broke out of the 1-2-2 press that Louisville had been applying all game long, and began to set up a play with ten seconds left in the second overtime. Purdue worked the ball over to the left side, and with time winding down they quickly worked it back to the right side.

Due the fact that the only camera angle given of the play was so poor, the folks watching at home will never be sure of who took the shot, nor will they know if it was a two or three-point shot. Still, the shot was no good, and Purdue dropped another home game by a final score of 79-77.

Now after the Louisville loss, Purdue takes on Texas Southern. This game ends in favor of Purdue by a final score of 76-50. One funny thing in the game was that late in the second half, I could've sworn I heard the crowd yelling, "We Want Barlow!" I cut Barlow from the team before I started this legacy....kind of funny in my opinion.

Another unbelievable finish!! I head into the tourney at 27-4 and a #6 seed. The first game is against UNLV who is rated very well. I walked out of the room to watch a movie as the game was playing when I came back there was :50 left and I was down 77-73. My center harvey makes the 2nd on a pair of free throws and I am down 3. They throw away the inbounds pass and harvey hits a layup to get within 1 at :46. They go down and run clock and after a miss and rebound my PF fouls and they are in double bonus and hit both free throws and go up 3 with :28 79-76. SIU then runs clock and hits a 3 with :06.8 to go to tie and steal the inbounds and hit a 2 from the top of the key with 2.6 and win 81-79 and move again to the 2nd round. This is the 3rd or 4th game I have had like this since doing this dynasty.

Up next arizona state rated a 90 overall!!

So here is a little history on my dynasty!! It is a CPU vs CPU dynasty that I just watch and recruit. I use jukemans cpu settings with raiderfans rosters.

I started the closed legacy with IPFW and stayed there 5 years before taking over at SIU. I just finished my 4th year with SIU. So far the deepest I have gotten is the elite 8.

                              IPFW 07-08 24-8 2nd round
                              IPFW 08-09 22-9 1st round
                              IPFW 09-10 23-10 SW 16
                              IFPW 10-11 27-5 2nd round
                              IPFW 11-12 27-6 SW 16
                              SIU 12-13 24-8 1st round
                              SIU 13-14 30-4 SW 16
                              SIU 14-15 28-8 Elite 8
                              SIU 15-16 28-5 2nd round

A pretty solid record with these teams. I had the opportunity before last season to go to Minnesota but i decided to stay because I have a solid team. I had 4 starters return this year and I signed the #1 center and I am recruiting a stellar class hopefully to come in next year.

Started a closed legacy with north florida. got dominated in non-conference, started 1-9! Now I've hit conference play and currently 5-1. Looks like all the beatdowns in the non-conference were worth it. Just for fun, I checked N. Florida's record for 07-08 and they were 3-26 (1-15) so at least I surpassed that mark lol. I love this game. Current record: 6-10 (5-1 in atlantic sun play)
