Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
Story of his career. He's just not there in the really big moments. Sad, but true. In the bonus, he HAD to drive.
Very dissapointing. I just wish he'd lose that 3 point shot. He shot about 9 from 30 this series from downtown. It's just not a good shot.
When he drove and dished or went to the hoop, the Rocks looked good.Comment

You can't blame JVG for Mac not driving the ball to the hoop in crunch time...
Houston needs a PG badly, I will say that. There's too much responsibility on Mac...similar to Kobe...to carry the ball AND score.
Both of these guys are dead tired by the last two minutes.Comment

BTW, wrong! You made a thread asking if Boozer WAS THE BEST, not one of. If you asked if he were one of, the question still would be ridiculous, everybody knows he's one OF the best.PS: You guys are great.

TMac needed to pull a Kobe and just take over. He relies on his teammates a little too much and honestly, with the team he has, you simply can't. Luther Head? Rafer Alston? Please! And WTF @ Yao Ming taking turn-around 15-footers?
I liked JVG with the Knicks, but after this series, it's time to let him go for good. The fact that they put money shots in the hands of Yao Ming and DIDN'T FOUL IMMEDIATELY with 13 seconds to go and let the clock tick down to 1.7 is pathetic and JVG lost his job because of it.Comment

Yes there is too much on him but even kobe doesnt have that much on his shoulders.
You refuse to call Yao out for the pitiful pathetic soft game that he played all series and being out rebounded and abused by Carlos Boozer that kept every Rockets run skipping backwards.Comment

Mixed emotions for me. Sad to see the Rocks go out...but i've followe Deron's career since he was young and it's great to see him do well.
He got a real lucky break getting drafted by Sloan. Made him work...made him lose weight...gets to work one on one with Stockton in the off seasons...
If he'd gone to Atlanta...who knows, maybe he'd be fat and lazy by now on a bad team?Comment

No you can't. Boozer would have abused ANYONE on that team...worse than he did Yao.
At least Yao scored back on him.
Boozer is a beast...don't underplay that. He's a beast.Comment
