Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
Jackson has nights like that constantly. That's okay, his role is to freewheel...
But there's NO EXCUSE for the constant tech fouls and losing his head. It's been going on for years now.
The guy is a nut case. Right up there with Ron Ron.
I admire his passion...but the man has to grow up.
It's almost a given that he'll lose the plot at some stage next season and cost GS something big.
I disagree, sure he is a hot head, but not that bad. He isn't hitting anyone, just gets in the refs faces and that is a no no in this league. I still like him and the way he plays.Comment

I'm glad Golden State lost. I got tired of their antics and they wore out their welcome for me at least.I write things on the Internet.

See I disagree, I think there have been some rediculous calls in the Phoenix series and off and on in the Warriors' series but as a Pistons fan you dont hear me blaming the refs at all, even though it would be easy considering the amount of grief they have been getting this offseason. I can agree on certain things, flagrant on Jackson shouldnt have been called, now the technical he deserved for the same reasons that Rasheed gets them all the time in Detroit. Golden State is a solid team, they need 1-2 more guys on the bench so they dont wear down so bad, keep Baron healthy for a full season and see what happens, they play an exciting brand of basketball and if you look back I would have loved to have seen a Phoenix vs Golden State series but alas it wont happen.Comment

As a Suns fan (and yes, spare me your sarcastic comments about concentrating on the Spurs first), Utah scares me very much because they play "physical" (euphemism for dirty), they have three very athletic big men (one of which who can rebound with the best of 'em), and an amazing PG. That's the recipe for beating Phoenix.Comment

The Warriors simply ran outta gas. They surely let game 2 slip away and were right there each time. What may have worked against Dallas didn't work against Utah. I think Nellie should've tried to bring a new spark somewhere, say Azubuike. They were getting absolutely manhandled and it showed with all their jumpers being way off the mark. Now all we can do is play the 'what if' game with the first 3 losses. Good run, but we were simply overpowered inside.

The officiating actually hasn't been bad in those games ... it's just been the basketball in general has been boring.
I only screamed at the TV maybe 3 times during the Bulls/Pistons game earlier today. Whereas I was screaming at the refs for bad calls on BOTH sides tonight about the whole game.Comment
