It's not a conspiracy by the NBA for the Spurs. It is desensitization and brainwashing by the Spurs towards the NBA. Their style of play has slowly been adjusted to by the refs, and well, they get all the crap because of it.

Yes spurs are doing it when it counts, I'm just against them for some reason. I think the reason started moreso in game 4 of the suns/spurs series. I still can't get over that. Man I can't get over when the Kings got ripped off the lakers. LOL I wonder why I'm still watching the nba. I need help.
I won't hide anything, I honestly think the nba is up to something. It could be fixed for particular reasons or maybe not. But there has to be something wrong that is not so obvious. I'm trying to figure it out.Comment

I think Bill Simmons was probably right when he said a lot of the flopping can be attributed to the European players coming over. They grew up around soccer which is well known for excessive flopping so they figured if it works in soccer surely it'll work in basketball. They were right.Comment

well I did revise my views on that and said he is one of the best players in the league right now. What else can I say?

He IS the best player in the league right now, not just one of them.
The PHX game was moreso a bogus rule than it was the Spurs. I wanted to see PHX come through as well but they didn't.
Now the Kings they got screwed, sorry.
Then again there was the thing of losing games 1 and 7 on your homecourt.Comment

Let me say this: It would case JUST AS MUCH uproar if a ref let a play go that he thought was a flop, but it wasnt. The refs are never going to be able to win. If they do start calling offensive flops for flopping, when flopping doesnt occur and its just a bad call, you better believe the refs will get an ear full from fans all over.Comment

Nash is not the best player in the league. Sorry.
Nash is probably the best maximizer in the league. Not the best player.Comment

I dont think there is an answer to that b/c there is no reason to allow it. I just dont see how it would be a good thing for anybody, make the game more enjoyable. I think what it is instead is that its hard to tell with replay when flopping occurs and when it doesnt.

By changing the rules and making defense softer they probably encouraged it, willingly or not.
David Stern's dream of incorporating a european style basketball into the NBA.
Too many rule changes in favor of offense, especially how you can't even breathe on a perimeter player.Comment

oh well, I know you're a suns fan, but I'll keep my opinion. I have been heavily influenced by nash lately even in my own game. I love his skill.Comment

No, he decided to take this series off ans screw us over. Honestly, Okur needs to grow some balls and step up like he should in big games. In all likelihood it's already over and he sure played a part (or the lack thereof) in that.Comment
