Couldn't agree more. As players keep getting bigger and longer, the relative court size continues to shrink. I think a wider court would really help to open things up, much like the international hockey rink does compared to the NHL's.

Strangely, I agree with Erod for the most part.
Except for the fouling out. That's there for a reason. Basically, so teams can't play "hack a Shaq" all game. Otherwise, the other team would put their 5 best offensive players and just foul the worst free throw shooter every time his team went on offense.
No, people in football don't foul out, but in football, if you commit pass interference, the other team doesn't have to attempt 2 field goals from the 25 yard line either.Comment

I was talking more in general about the NBA. Of course that was a foul because like you said he was trying to foul, the refs let it go in favor of seeing Lebron take a game tying shot. Frankly, I like that they let it go, because I got to see a better ending this way. Was it the right move, no.Comment

Okay. What's up with the Spurs logo being slashed with a sword during the Cavs introduction on the jumbotron?
Do other arenas take it that far?
I know it's done to hype up the crowd, but kind of a slap in the face to the Spurs?Comment

Not really...
It could've been worse, they could've done what Sacramento did a couple years ago.Comment

Not really. I think the Spurs up 3-0 speaks for itself. And I think a team like the Spurs could care less about their virtual logo being the target of a pun of another team.Comment

Why is it that sometimes my TV doesn't display stuff right? Like right now, the score bar thing is cut in half. It's like its zoomed in. But I have it on Standard (I've tried Wide and Full Screen, still no luck).
Is this common on widescreen HDTVs?Xbox 360 GamertagRAW 910

I didn't think it was classless or anything, just a little weird.
Although I was a Knicks fan, I always liked the Bulls intros with the snorting bull. Didn't have anything to do with the opponent.Comment

When the Pistons visited Sacramento a couple years ago, the Kings showed pictures of the slums of Detroit (burned out buildings, abandoned cars, etc) on the jumbotron. I have a problem with THAT; not a team blowing up the opponent's logo.Comment
