Lebron is a beast. He just needs to develop a consistant jumper. If he ever does watch out. Really the only weakness in his game.

Its hilarious how the conspriacy theorist just ignore this post by EG, a foul called would have been almost worse for the Cavs. They needed 3, in fact it was mentioned by the announcers that sometimes its a good time to foul and put them at the line anyway, especially with no timeouts for the Cavs. Its sad that based on what they saw on the sportscenter highlight that they think they need to stir the pot about a situation they obviously knew nothing about. Lakers, and Suns fans sorry the only reason you have to follow the NBA now is to bash the Spurs and specifically Bruce Bowen.Comment

Why do y'all think that Cleveland would have won if Lebron would have gotten 2 free throws?Last edited by Gibbz; 06-13-2007, 11:06 AM.Comment

My thoughts are, it was a clear foul. Am I crying over it? No, it was Bowen's intent to foul him. At the same time, it puts the ref in a horrible spot. Does he call the foul with 3 seconds left and put LBJ on the line for 2 or 3 shots. Had Bowen hit James in the actual act, I'm sure the foul would be called, but since he grabbed him as he got the ball, LeBron through up a prayer hoping to get fouled. LeBron said it after the game that it didn't affect his shot, and yes, I realize he was taking the mature, high road instead of complaining about a foul. But if you look at the shot, Bowen's contact did nothing to impede his shot. It just didn't go in. Win some, lose some, that's the way it goes.
Would I wanted the foul called? Of course.
And I can't speak for the rest of Bowen's game, I've really only watched him against Cleveland, but I don't see where he's a dirty player, but that's not here or there.
To me, the Spurs and their fans have been nothing but class acts in this series. Like I said, I can't speak for any other opponent of theirs.Comment

If the Cavs were in the West, this is a first round game. That's the difference between the conferences.Comment

LeBron is already leading his team better than Kobe at 29.
Seriously...these guys are in the NBA finals. Look at their other starters:
- Larry Hughes
- Pavlovic
-Gooden
-Z
That's...by so far it's not even funny...the worst line up ever to make the NBA finals.
Yet a 22 year old has led them there.
Had of they not shot 3-20 or something from 3 ball land...they'd have even won a game last night vs. a very good / championship calibre team.
All that on the back of a 22 year old.
How is this kid NOT a freak? No 22 year old has ever done close to this...
And, as others have said, he's still got a tonne of area's he can improve on.
If he improves another 25%...and they add clutch vets...
Also the cavs 1st round was not even fair, while the lakers played a championship caliber team.
But still Lebron made it and the cavs nearly won game 3 against one of the best teams in the past several years.Comment

Of course he was going to shoot that from that spot. Down 3. Seconds to go. Personally, I think it would NOT have been a continuation. If the ref missed anything, he missed a call on the floor which I'm sure was intended to happen to waste time as I don't think the Cavs were in the bonus.Comment

Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
They were in the bonus, so unless the ref called continuation, as the announcers thought it should have been... then it wouldn't have necessarily made a great impact. Either way, it's a loss. We had plenty of opportunities to pull away, and we didn't capitalize. It's as simple as that. It should have never came down to that play.

Which is additionally what I meant to say. Very big of you to mention as a Cavs fan. It's just not their time. And LeBron needs more help.
