That was the first semblance of a good game the whole series. Spurs are still in control, cruise control.

Ok, ok, and what would have happened if the Spurs made all the shots they missed in reality? Would the Cavs have still won?
Stop making excuses. I can't imagine the real Cav fans are encouraged by them.Last edited by trobinson97; 06-13-2007, 04:32 AM.PS: You guys are great.

Foul.
No continuation on the shot.
Should've been 2 free throws.
If they called a continuation and the Cavs won the game at the line, conspiracy theories would be off the chain.Comment

I am niether a Cavs or a LeBron fan but that was an obvious foul. It is too bad because who knows what would have happened. IF he makes the free throws and they pull the game out we have a whole new series. Now I think the Spurs will close it out in 4.
Last year Wade would have somehow gotten 4 foul shots for that oneActually...believe it or not from my physique... I'm a light eater - Clay T. ShaverComment

Oh my Lord and Savior, are you serious? Did you watch the first two games? Spurs up 3-0, they are not "only just" surviving Lebron, lol. Sorry my friend, you are not only buying the hype, you're contributing to it.

Same thing I thought when I read that, good response. Sorry, I cant see Lebron in a dyansty. He needs to work on some the fundemental flaws of his game.
Triple threat (rocker step..etc)
Midrange jumper off the dribble (left and right hand)
Post moves
Side to side dribbling (break someone down)
I know some will say, "He does those things already!"
Yeah, but can he consistently pull the moves off? Lebron loses his confidence throughout the game(s) and season.
Also, Im not falling for the excuses of "He's only 22." Oh well, what some fail to realize is that he is 22 and 240lbs and never been injured seriously.
No hate, just my $0.02.
P.S. Bulls wouldve made a better opponent than the Cavs.Comment

The Bulls, who lost to Detroit who lost to the Cavs?
Yeah.Originally posted by VP Richard M. NixonI always remember that whatever I have done in the past, or may do in the future, Duke University is responsible one way or the other.

Two things:
LBJ is 22. I said "this kid is on a different level to everyone else on the planet" and I mean that in the context that he's 22.
Find me a better 22 year old? Go on...list one here.
In fact, list a better 22 year old ever?
Secondly...when he took control and attacked the rim, he virtually carried their entire offense in that last quarter. He destroyed the Pistons single handedly. The Spurs are THE best team in the NBA...yet even they, when he attacks, don't really have an answer. He was scoring on Bowen like no one else has...
Yes, they are in cruise control. I said they'd win easy...it's not even a contest IMO.
It's basically 1 v 5...
Re the three balls...the essential difference was the Cavs shots were WIDE open. The Spurs collapsed on LBJ because it's basically the only way to stop him.
Give him some clutch / vet shooters...how do you stop him then.
I really would like your vote on "better" 22 year old than LeBron though...will wait eagerly...Comment

Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
Well...Bowen cant deal with Lebrons strength...and they kno Lebron can beat them by himself with a tad of support from the role players....(making threes) we make 7 of those open *** threes and we win...but it doesnt matter...
I would say Deron Williams was the only player I have ever seen pause eat Bowen completely up because for one...he can shoot the ball...he can dribble...and he can get to the rim...and he will finish. Add to the fact that they were not worried about Deron beating them by himself you get Deron one on one against Bowen every game with the occasional double team which allowed him to do whatever he wanted against Bowen...
Lebron on the other hand...as soon as he makes his move has 10 eyes watchin him...and thats only on defense...and once he STARTS to make his move andgets into the lane he gets crowed by 3 other guys besides bowen...the spurs guard no other player like that...they didnt even do Amare like that...they dont do Nash like that...becuz they know Amare or Nash cannot beat them with a superstar effort...check the year they beat the Suns in the West Finals...they shut the cast of the Suns down and let Amare and Nash get anyshot they wanted...
They will NOT let Lebron get anyshot he wants becuz they fear him and that makes me feel great about our chances in the future...only reason I said Cavs in 6 was I expected us to win this game(obviously) and go from there...but...I see experience and coaching let us down this time around...luckily...we now know what we have to do to our team to make us contenders...and thats trade AV Larry Drew and a pick for KG lolComment

LeBron is already leading his team better than Kobe at 29.
Seriously...these guys are in the NBA finals. Look at their other starters:
- Larry Hughes
- Pavlovic
-Gooden
-Z
That's...by so far it's not even funny...the worst line up ever to make the NBA finals.
Yet a 22 year old has led them there.
Had of they not shot 3-20 or something from 3 ball land...they'd have even won a game last night vs. a very good / championship calibre team.
All that on the back of a 22 year old.
How is this kid NOT a freak? No 22 year old has ever done close to this...
And, as others have said, he's still got a tonne of area's he can improve on.
If he improves another 25%...and they add clutch vets...Comment
