it really doesnt matter if you are tired of hearing it. it's the truth.

again, Nellie basically BUILT the Mavs. he discovered and developed Dirk. He discovered and developed Avery, and he is responsible for just about every assistant and GM that the Mavs have. His son is still the GM of the Mavs.

he knows exactly how to coach against Dallas. combine that with the fact that his roster is young, hungry, athletic, and plays a helter skelter style that the Mavs have trouble with...and it was the perfect storm.

The Warriors finished the season on a 15-4 run, and absolutely embarrassed a Mavs team that everyone and their mother had winning it all. It's not like this is some lucky stretch of basketball. They're peaking at the right time. They are not your typical 8 seed.
i agree. They are more like a 5 or 6 seed imo. Dallas had some bad luck matching up against them. It's karma though somehow i guess.

of course, Dirk has missed some shots but I would say Terry and Howard have been the biggest problems. Both of them have had open court all game.
LOL! C'mon. Howard carried this team during this series while Dirk has been sucking. We know Dirk has been double teamed but as Barkley said, at some point he has to put his head down and go to the basket. Instead, he sets a pick at the top of the key and then runs to the 3 point line in the corner. Dirk sucks when we need him the most. We are a flawed team with him as a reluctant leader.

I don't understand why you guys keep calling me a sore loser, I've said that you kicked our asses multiple times in this thread. I've just tried to get across to you that if the mid-season Mavs were playing this series it wouldn't have turned out the same, and if you don't believe that you're proving my point further.

I'm out, talk all the crap you want, it doesn't bother me. Congrats on winning the series, and good luck in the next round.

              Little win?

When exactly was the last time the Mavericks won an NBA Finals series again?

The guy is 7 feet tall. Him getting double teamed by people 6'7 or 6'8 really shouldn't make a difference. And he's supposed to be a star. Every star get's double and triple teamed but he has an actual advantage since he's so tall but he doesn't even look like he wants to be there.

I love this. This is what the NBA needs.. a team that plays with a whole lotta passion and a crowd to back them up. This series has gotten me back into watching NBA basketball in a long time.
