He was a killer that one year for the Spurs. Though a very quiet, under the radar killer. He did the same things he's doing now with the Warriors. Find where nobody was defending behind the line, catch, and spot-up for three.

I liked him better when he was in S.A. because I don't remember him opening his mouth at all. Just seemed to go about his business, even after hitting big shots.

the reason why we won game 3 was because j rich and baron scored 57 points between them.

your hate for stephen jackson amazes me, i never really understood how because someoen doesnt act how you want them to, makes them a bad person.

going in to the stands. he was protecting a teammate
the gun charge?, we me you and everyone else outside of jack, and his boys and the courts, have no idea what really happened, so to bring that up is so ridiculous its funny.

imploding in indiana? NOBODY wanted to play there, theres a reason carlisle got fired, jermaine wants out, etc.

instead of being baised and throwing out garbage why dont you just say you dont liek the man, but to **** on the dude and say hes a liability to the warriors is so far from the truth it aint funny.

Like nelly said, id take 10 stephen jacksons on the team, mush better then the cream puffs named troy murphy and mike dunleavy.
I have hopped on the GSW bandwagon during these playoffs. You know, its always good to see the hometown team doing something good after so long. And I like Stephen Jackson. He's a really good player and I don't believe that he is as bad a guy as everyone tries to make it seem.

But even with that said, the dude is a little bit of a headcase. When he is focused on the game and can keep everything else from bothering him, he's great. But too many times this series he let everything else get to him. Whether it was the physical play of Harpring, getting thrown around by Boozer, getting shots blocked by Kirilenko, or letting the non-calls by the refs get to him, he was just not right this series.

I think a lot of it had to do with him not shooting too well and not being able to help the team the way he wanted to. And add that to the things I mentioned previously, he just got frustrated. And you dont know if he'll be able to keep himself in check once he gets like that.

Yeah Jackson is a head case, but I will still take him. It is that headcase that led us to the playoffs. You take the good with the bad and the good out weigh the bad. I like my players with emotion. Itis maybe it is not the best thing for the team the way the league is now, but I still love watching this team play. And for you that say you don't like this kind of B Ball, all I can say is wow. It is so freaking exciting to watch. It reminds me of the run and shoot. It might not win you a championship, but it is fun as hell to watch it.

Nice little article regarding the Moore/Pavlovic incident. Lebron sticking up from Pavlovic was good to see...

That's a big key to being the leader... now he just needs a killer instinct... and the drive to win at all cost, and he'll elevate to the next level.

He is a high risk/high reward kind of player. And I agree you have to take the bad with the good when it comes to him. But sometimes the bad is just...bad. He just has to learn to control himself and his teammates need to know when to step in and calm him down.

And where did I say I didn't enjoy this kind of basketball? The Golden State Warriors have been the only reason I have watched the playoffs this year. Them being the local team has a bit to do with it, but most of it is because they are so much fun to watch. I'm not that interested in any other series and now that they're eliminated, I'm pretty much done with the playoffs.

As much as I despise the Jazz (been a Rockets fan since the early 90s)....how about Carlos Boozer? Man he reminds me so much of a young Charles Barkley. "Undersized" at PF....but strong as hell and rebounds like a beast. I really like his game. I think Barkley was a better shooter, but Boozer does not miss ANYTHING down low and even going against bigger defenders he never gets his shot blocked or altered. 20 and 10 don't lie.

As for the suspensions. Horry deserves to be suspended. He tossed Nash into the scorer's table, THEN went and elbowed Raja. That wasn't a hard foul, that was frustration that could have very well led to a total brawl. Going and elbowing Raja shows the intent. Horry deserves two games.

As for Amare and Diaw, we know the rule but they were stopped by the assistants. Plus, if Amare and Diaw get suspended then Duncan and Bowen better be also. Either way, I doubt anything will come out of this in terms of those four, because if Baron didnt get suspended for his dirty *** hit on Fisher, then these guys shouldnt, no matter what the rule says.

CJ, the altercation was when Francisco Elson dunked, fell hard over James Jones. Duncan ran onto the floor and Bowen came too but tried to hold Duncan back.
Matrix you gotta remember most of these people that post on here never even played b-ball. Nash going full speed, pushed by someone who weighs 40+ lbs. more would make him fall and fall pretty hard. Take it with a grain of salt, you gonna let some couch potatoes make you all mad, they don't know what they're talking about, so just ignore it.

My comments have nothing to do with the actual games...

But I WISH they would have left Erod's Golden State thread open.

Boy did I want to respond to him.

Boozer has been doing it all year. Remember how he was an All-Star? Then he did it against Houston. GS didn't make Boozer look like good, Boozer made himself look good. Give the man some credit.

Ok if that is true, explain how Nash changes direction? As soon as he hits Horry it was like he hit a wall and was falling back a little then all of sudden he more. That is not going to happen with out help. Nash try to get a F Foul and it back fire. I love Nash a lot and he is a great player, but he does some flopping with the best of them. Any player is going to flop if they think they can get a foul. THat is how you help your team win.

I agree, he does have a way to go before he catches Chucky Cheese. But the potential is there and his play can sometimes convince people that he is that good.

I remember a lot of people on this forum were saying how Dwight Howard and Chris Bosh were better than Boozer. lol. Some people just shouldn't watch Basketball.
