Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
I know what you mean EG. The only team in this city that gets unconditional support is the Browns. When the tribe stopped dominating, fan support dried up to nothing...and a ton of Cavs fans are only on board because of Lebron. Gerald Levert once told me that Cleveland is known in entertainment circles as one of the toughest crowds in the country...which is why alot of acts skip Cleveland on their tours. I have no idea why we're so hard on everyone.
We must be punch drunk.
I guess it's just the boo'ing on national TV tonight that finally got to me.
Oh, and get back to workComment

No, but you constantly complain that the team doesn't look good. We won the last game, but you complained we didn't look good. A win is a win.
Are they playing good? Not right now, they are playing horrible. But boo'ing your hometown team in the playoffs up 3 games to 1, is absolutely embarrassing to the rest of the country.
Did they look good last game? No... they came away with the win, and that's all that matters... which I said... but, they shouldn't have escaped with it. All I'm saying.
Again, I don't know if I was boo'ing or not. I'm leaning towards not, since it'd be redundant since nobody can hear me other than my 83 year old neighbor, and even then, that'd be a stretch.
I complain because I care, or so I thought. The Cavs are a good ball club. When you put up w/ mediocre to low talent ball clubs for years, and finally get something, you want to see them exceed and play superior basketball to what they're playing right now. The offensive structure that they play with right now, doesn't suit this team whatsoever. Which is frankly why I'm disappointed... but apparently, since I'm a bandwagon fan, I have no room to complain.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
you are so far away from reality its not even funny man.
Stephen jackson is a leader on this team.
17 shots in an uptempo game is not that many at all
the reason why we won game 3 was because j rich and baron scored 57 points between them.
your hate for stephen jackson amazes me, i never really understood how because someoen doesnt act how you want them to, makes them a bad person.
going in to the stands. he was protecting a teammate
the gun charge?, we me you and everyone else outside of jack, and his boys and the courts, have no idea what really happened, so to bring that up is so ridiculous its funny.
imploding in indiana? NOBODY wanted to play there, theres a reason carlisle got fired, jermaine wants out, etc.
instead of being baised and throwing out garbage why dont you just say you dont liek the man, but to **** on the dude and say hes a liability to the warriors is so far from the truth it aint funny.
Like nelly said, id take 10 stephen jacksons on the team, mush better then the cream puffs named troy murphy and mike dunleavy.
18 shots not a lot? When you make 4 it is...
I don't hate him.
PM Skins4Life and ask him what really went on in Indy bro..................Comment

I'm glad you're a fan, I'm complaining about the boo'ing going on at the arena, which you obviously aren't at.Comment

This team is going to get their asses handed to them in a major way if they play this uninspired mess against a team with any quality.
Right now, what team beides NJ currently in the playoffs could we beat playing like this? None. Fans...ANY FANS....have a right to be upset when energy and effort are the issue. Even my KY homies...Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
Nah, not always. This team shouldn't be giving us any trouble at full strength...let alone without thier starting bigs. I know for a fact that NO ONE ON THIS SITE was talking up the Cavs besides me pre-LeBron...do a search. No one here was hyping Miles, Davis, Wagner ETC...No one, except me...so I don't wanna here anything about longtime fan crap. I've been a Cavs diehard since Mark West autographed a life-sized standee for me...and that was pre-Price/Daugherty. We're talkin' World B./Dinner bell Mel era.

Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
Actually, S.A. was willing to keep him, (no troubles at that point) and offerd him an extension. He thought he was worth more $$$, so he rolled the dice and took LESS money on a 1-year deal in ATL. After a decent season, he got a bigger deal and was dealt in a sign and trade for Harrington. After the Finals there was a pretty nice write-up on the kid in Dime. He's had it rougher than most.
Regardless, Jax isn't a "kid". I guess that's my point. He's 27 or something now.
I met him when he was 19. He played for Sydney in the NBL for a brief period (he broke his ankle and had to leave). He had a giant sized chip on his shoulder back then. That's at 19. I guess I am just saying that he should be maturing by now.
I look at it this way. There was TWO guards in that series who have rings.
Jax and Fisher.
Jax lost it, got techs...couldn't control his emotions...and showed zero leadership that counted down the stretch. (GS actually lost every close game of this post season / only won blowouts). They needed maturity down the stretch.
Conversely, Fisher stayed calm...was a great influence on young guys like Deron...hit big shots...kept his emotions in check, despite going through a personal helll...
Jax had a chance to really grow up this series.
This one will be judged over time. Skins4Life seems pretty in the know about what went on in Indy. I hope it doesn't blow up in GS.Comment

Re: ***Official 2007 NBA Playoffs Discussion Thread***
No, I'm not, I've never boo'ed my home team. I've complained, but would never boo them.
I'm not going to argue about long time fans, I avoid posting in this forum for these very arguments. I was using the Cavs in NBA2K1 online seasons back when the Dreamcast when online, but you know, I wasn't posting about it because I wasn't a fan.
Enjoy the game, I'll leave the discussion now.Comment

As a Laker fan its kind of depressing to think, "Man would I love to have Mikki Moore as our starting 4" MIKKI FREAKING MOORE!!Jordan Mychal Lemos
@crypticjordan
Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment

Oh, and for your "would you root for the team that Lebron went to" question EG, I've played as the Cavs since Live 99 on the PS1. I dominated with Vitaly Potapenko.
Granted, that's not as long as World B and the rest of the crew, but I was around before Lebron... just didn't have enough reason to get really hyped up. I have quite a few RC's of Daughtery and Price, etc.Twitter - WTF_OS
