It was a decent lead, and I think the Jazz had a chance at gaining some momentum, but I honestly believe the refs killed all and any chance of momentum favoring the Jazz, but that doesn't mean the Spurs wouldn't have won. They had everything going their way and Manu was hitting almost everything, despite his flopping. The game just got away too quick in the last few minutes.

There was one foul called against okur when he kept his hands up and duncan made his little act where he twists his leg or whatever and they called okur for a foul. This is similar to what Rip did, Rip hamilton put his hands up and Lebron got contact and missed his shot because of that and also did a weird little twist with his body, but Lebron got no call. Where is the consistency? Do these refs ever study these tapes? Do they ever listen to the complaining?

Maybe it wasn't the same referee. These referees aren't droids, you know.

But he will attempt to pull down Paul Pierce's shorts on an in-bound pass.

ur exactly right, all of these complaints could be fixed if they just watched the routines that duncan and ginobli go into on tape. duncan does the same flop move on offense whenever he's frustrated and cant get things going. when someone gets calls like that, it makes them that much better of a player

but they all work for the same department, they should all be studying these things year in year out, yet every year it's been getting worse. What's going on? lol

Now don't get me wrong, the spurs deserved the victory. The Jazz played terrible down the stretch.

I'm mainly pointing my fingers at the refs for ruining the game of basketball.

Part of being a great player involves playing smart. That's exactly what every member(besides Jacque Vaughn) of the Spurs' team does every night.

well it's kinda dumb when you have to act out to get a foul. It destroys the game of the basketball because it turns into hollywood instead of fundamentals.

they aren't weak. a lot of the nba does the same thing with it's flopping, acting, favoritism, superstar calls, or whatever other garbage exists out there.

Duncan is a solid player, he has been unstoppable in the playoffs this year. Manu has been solid since the 2nd round.
