I don't mean in the criterea you mean, I just mean like, if you go on NBA.com, everything is about Kobe vs. Bron. Both players of the past month, both the leading conrendors for mvp, they play similar positions and can defend each other in games (by posiiton), and both have several amazing years ahead of them. I didn't mean it in the sense of Bird vs. Magic like specifically, just I meant a great rivalry which will go on for years between the league's two best players. Honestly, I prefer Bron, but whether people prefer Bron or Kobe doesn't matter to em, cuz it just shows how close and amazing these guys are.

It really works both ways. Kobe and Lebron had more chances than a Jordan or any other 3-4 year college player, but at the same time, their career numbers (especially efficiency) are lowered. It's silly to expect an 18 year old to play at the same ability as a 21 year old.
Good points. I am a firm believer though, then wait till you are 21. Just like with any other job you are and should be judged by how well you do not by how well your doing at so and so age.

I see what you mean. Back to get almost of the Kobe versus Lebron topic. I think we have all bought too much into what the media wants to feed us. They need this rivalry and they have used Lebron as the Media diva. I think what I am getting at and I am guilty of this to is that we are missing out on other great players such as Chris Paul. Also on what K.G. is doing not necessarily numbers-wise, but as a true leader. Lebron was handed the key to Cleveland when he was drafted. K.G. on the other hand has taken charge of a group of vets which in this league I thought was impossible. Same goes for CP3. He has taken a laughing stock and in one year and no big signings and has taken them to an almost elite level.

I agree. I think you all have too. That's a summation of this forum.
