Re: MVP Discussions
that doesn't explain why Roy isn't the 4th best MVP to me. I don't think you understand that I have LeBron at #1 and he is capable of finishing like that against anyone... even Kobe Bryant.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Re: MVP Discussions
Why are ya'll still talking about Roy when ya'll know dude has no chance of winning it?
LOL goodness it's almost like folks are refusing to believe 1+1 = 2.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: MVP Discussions
why do you keep shooting us down for putting him 4th on a ballot of 5 players... which is standard for MVP voting? Whether or not we think he can win MVP (I don't), I'm just going by the blueprint. If anything, you are the one dragging this way too far.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Re: MVP Discussions
It states "MVP Discussion".
However, any "discussion" regarding any player other than KING James, and you're burned at the stake for even fathoming someone else could possibly win, or in your case can stand in his shadow.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: MVP Discussions
And even if 5 did matter(which realistically the only ones that'll matter are 1-3)why should Roy be mentioned in there over guys like CP3 or Dwight or even Paul Pierce and Chauncey Billups?
Or what about Devin Harris? Mo Williams? Joe Johnson?
But I see how it is. Because the title says "MVP Discussion" that's basically a green light for people to start throwing names out there even though they already know they have no chance of winning it but we're just going to throw names out just because. Gotcha now.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: MVP Discussions
Yea ok. Don't try to put this on me because it really shouldn't have even continued this long in the first place.

And you obviously missed the part where I said that the MVP race is 3-man battle between LeBron, Wade, and Kobe. I'm just going by the book and listing my top 5, even though it's crystal clear that the latter 2 guys have no shot at it... in my case Roy and Howard.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment

Going by this, can I call Gilbert Arenas an MVP candidate since it's obvious the Wizards wouldn't be this bad without him?
Or what about Devin Harris? Mo Williams? Joe Johnson?

Since it's a unanimous majority lets just close the thread then.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Re: MVP Discussions
And then I proceeded to own the guy who claimed that LeBron lit up Roy last night, which never happened. Sidenote: clever use of slander DC... very clever. You made me laugh.SAN ANTONIO SPURSComment
