Make a thread about it !

It'll be interesting to see if there's enough basketball to go around between Roy, Turk and Aldridge.

I'm kind of surprised you said that, man. Turk and Roy are playmakers, and both of them are excellent without the ball. I think the offense becomes more fluid with Turk, not less so. Turk makes the game easier on other people with the ball in his hands, but backs off when someone else is hot. He's not afraid to take the late game shots, but he doesn't demand it either.

My only concern if I were a Blazer fan would be whether they get the most out of him with their system. If they do, then this could be a very scary acquisition for them. If not, then Turk used his good years at Orlando to hustle a team into overpaying a 16ppg guy, lol.

I don't see any of those guys as being the kind of player who has to dominate the ball or have X amount of touches to be effective. It obviously will take a while for them to learn to play off each other, but I think their talents are going to mesh nicely.

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

Just a question LOL. I for one never took POR seriously as a title contender because they didn't have a guy like Turk. No guy after Roy at all. Now that they have a bonafide scorer it should be fun out West.

Aldridge is the type of player that let's his offense effect how he plays on the other end. If he isn't getting touches, he seems to go cold turkey.

Roy is the consummate teammate, so I don't think it'll be a problem overall.

My only other concern is the contract. If it was 5 years 50 million, I would have liked to see him get a max of 4 years.

Toronto is offering Marion a 4 year, 32 million dollar contract.

I pray to God that he accepts that.

Marion is getting 8 million as an offer from Toronto...If he's smart he will accept. 4 years to boot.

I hope he doesn't...I'd rather go after Marvin or Marquis.

Re: Official NBA Offseason/Player Movement Thread

and Portland was bidding against themselves...Hollinger made a great point about the fact that Toronto set their sights out for Marion, pretty much ending their pursuit of Hedo.

So Portland could've maybe tried to only make it a 4 year deal or maybe only make it 45 instead of 50 million.

So what happens with Fernandez and Outlaw now that Hedo is in the picture?

One of them has to be gone, right?

How quickly things can change. If you would have told me a couple of years ago that fans would be begging for their team not to sign a 31-year old Shawn Marion, at 8 mil per no less, I wouldn't have believed it.

Millsap's agent said he has received no offers: I know he's a restricted free agent but it just sounds bad when you say it like that.

Thanks for the memories, Turkoglu, it was fun watching you play.

I don' think anyone is trading Rudy.

                              3 years for 4.5 million total for a 40% 3 point shooter?

You aren't trading that unless he goes back overseas
