Re: Official NBA Offseason/Player Movement Thread

If we pull off Ariza, I'll be as happy as the rumored Artest deal. Love Ariza's athleticism and youth.

I'm doubting it's going to happen either, but remaining hopeful.

And as someone else said, they need to kill off this "talk on 7/1, sign 7/8" stuff. Just let the players sign.

Who do Cleveland look to sign now? I guess now that Ariza has a ring, he went for the money. I ain't mad at him.

Trevor will be exposed as a mediocre player...

It's going to be sad to watch...Should've stayed in L.A. or went to Ohio.

Portland would have been better, Pack, I agree. Houston...ehh....in a couple of years, this might be good for him. It'll be interesting to see how he plays as the focus of the offense for the first half of the season next year. Weird move for him.

Windhorst and Yahoo are reporting that the Cavaliers are closing on Anthony Parker.

Yezzir, always go for the $$$. Nobody remembers how many rings A.C. Green has.

So they never even offered Trev a contract?

"The Los Angeles Lakers never offered Trevor a contract," Lee said. "Their response was, 'Go out and find what someone else will pay you and then come back to us.' I don't think he felt appreciated." Los Angeles Daily News
