as OSU said
YahooSportsNBALet's try that again -- The Cleveland Cavaliers are trying to do a sign-and-trade for Anthony Parker with the Toronto Raptors, sources say.
Why don't they just sign him outright???

This reminds me of that year the Cavs couldn't get a swingman to come to their team...Redd said no...So they settled for Hughes like you said...Comment

Re: Official NBA Offseason/Player Movement Thread
"The Lakers bombarded Artest with all manner of communication.
Bryant, who'd gotten into numerous trash-talking on-court spats with Artest over the last couple of seasons, sent Artest numerous texts since the start of the negotiating period Wednesday morning. Hall of Fame great Magic Johnson called Artest on Wednesday as well. And Artest had lunch this afternoon with Lakers majority owner Jerry Buss."Last edited by Scoop 24; 07-02-2009, 09:37 PM.NFL:New York Jets

Re: Official NBA Offseason/Player Movement Thread
If we trade Delonte for Anthony Parker, I am going to go F'ng nuts. Parker for Boobie would be nice, as TOR was going to get nothing and Parker addresses a need (and Candace might make a few appearances) but dude is getting up there in age also, and this certainly does reek of desparation.
Who will take our MLE now? McDyess most likely? Grant Hill? Might as well make CLE the official King James retirement community.Last edited by HMcCoy; 07-02-2009, 09:46 PM.Hank's Custom Collectibles 3D printer/painter extraordinaireComment

Re: Official NBA Offseason/Player Movement Thread
If we pull off Ariza, I'll be as happy as the rumored Artest deal. Love Ariza's athleticism and youth.
I'm doubting it's going to happen either, but remaining hopeful.
And as someone else said, they need to kill off this "talk on 7/1, sign 7/8" stuff. Just let the players sign.Jordan Mychal Lemos

Do this today: Instead of $%*#!@& on a game you're not going to play or movie you're not going to watch, say something good about a piece of media you're excited about.
Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.Comment
